Pretty unrelated, but: I hope this tie-in of Amuro to Takagi's backstory means some possible involvement of Takagi in BO plots/Conan identity plots.

Though it probly won't happen I can hope. D:

that would be great. Also it'd be nice not to have Bourbon's identity exposed yet, Gosho should keep us in suspense and give us some conflicting clues as well

Anyway, did anyone else notice that there's been a major shift in the cases lately? I believe it was said in the cbox that Gosho might have gotten new editors/assistants. That sounds reeally likely considering how much quicker the pace has been, how the cases have been a bit more "bloody"/extreme and since there have been quite a few kidnappings/hostage situations with the main characters (the bombing at the agency, Ayumi in the rug, Conan *sort of* in the Online Client case, and now Takagi)

If it is indeed the case...I like these editors/assistants :X

the editor would only give him ideas or directions for the case and the assistants would help him with the drawing. I don't know if some of them changed, but I like the cases

Also, what if Amuro knew Natalie somehow?  It would make sense, depending on how they knew one another, that Amuro would know Date as well.  I find myself wondering if there are any females close to Amuro in MSG (other than Sayla Mass).  Surely someone would've mentioned it by now, though.

The theory someone posted 2 pages before about Amuro wanting the notebook SOUNDS SO MUCH LIKE WHAT GOSHO WOULD END UP PLOTTING!
Maybe that's why Amuro was there late when he visits Dante! He might have not been "late," he my just go everyday and wait for Takagi to show up, and the tooth pick was from the first time?

And it's been a month from when Takagi was kidnap! Makes me think about the time in DC! When did Conan turn little and all this stuff happen again? Less than a year ago?

another shift is the character design is more "cute" recently. Gosho definitively has a better assistant

@rrizqiw: Really? ...I didn't really see a difference...except in Online Client. I don't know why, but especially for the first file I just couldn't stop marveling at how cute Conan was looking. ._.

By the way. It's make sense that Takagi came late for Dates' death anniversary because he was sick. But why Amuro late too?

I have noticed this too. That's why I thought Amuro probably wanted the notebook (and possibly the ring inside of it as well). And if Date really wanted the notebook to be given to Natalie, why didn't he tell Takagi upon giving the notebook to give it (and the ring) to her, instead of saying "I'm leaving this in your care"?

I guess I'm over-analyzing things again, but it's so hard not to speculate knowing that Date's a friend of Amuro. Or fellow BO agent?

I believe the reason Takagi and Amuro at Date's grave at the same time is only "Contrived Coincidence" Gosho just want to show them in the same they.
Why Date can't just say directly to give it to Natalie. Because it will kill the suspense of the case. As blunt as that.


Point raise by Xpon. Is Amuro a double agent?

We tend to firmly believe that Amuro is Bourbon due to our deduction, therefor, we tend to disregard to "normal audience perspective". What would happen when a normal audience found out Amuro is a friend of Date. We would think he's a police too, maybe on a undercover mission. That would explain how he got his income. That's mean he's a good guy albeit with some suspicious behavior.
But, Since we already assume he's a BO. Evidence that suggest he's a good guy don't match. So we think he live a doulbe live. As a police and a BO agent. But if we just assume Amuro never complete his training and never become a police. Deduction will say he's BO and BO alone
How do you think?

Maybe Bourbon did something like Shinichi did back when he was in police academy and instead of getting killed, they forced him to join at the threat of killing his friends and/or family. And Bourbon's just jealous that Akai could just waltz right out of the org without losing anyone important to him (assuming Bourbon thinks Akai didn't actually care for Akemi and was just using her.) XD
