Just read File 808. I can't help but think that there's something more about the notebook that Date gave to Takagi. And the ring. I don't think that Date wanted Takagi to give it to Sato because I don't believe that the two are "dating" around that time. (I might be wrong because the DC time is really confusing me.) Hmm... who knows Amuro might be after the notebook. :/

Takagi start date Sato after DC start. If Date is alive by then. We would seen him.

The ring was not meant for Sato, but for Natalie. Date want Takagi to tell his girlfriend about his death. But Natalie commit suicide shortly after that. I'm not sure why can't Takagi meet with Date's girlfriend or her relative back then (I believe there is a reason behind that but I forgot and I'll let someone else mention that.) Takagi's plan in th beginning of this case is to meet with the culprit (Natalie last so-called relative) to inform about Date but the culprit misunderstood and try to kill him instead.


By the way. It's make sense that Takagi came late for Dates' death anniversary because he was sick. But why Amuro late too?

Well, good file, I am left with these questions in my head:

How did Natalie knew about Date's death? who told her? Are we going to see her again? ( may be I am just over thinking it :x) Did that text from Date mean something else?

I thought that was pretty funny, actually.  I read it and thought "Really, Takagi?  Is it really the time for that?"

Then, when the policemen were all mourning over Takagi's likely death I wondered why they were so upset after all the time they've been angry with him because Sato liked him.  The world made sense again when they saw her kiss him, though. XD
