i knew takagi will live but the "sato saved him and kissed him" thing should have been other way round
Spoiler:
I agree with you. It's kinda funny. Sato saved Takagi and she's the one who kissed him. If Sato was the one who being saved by Takagi, it's natural if Sato kiss Takagi. But if it's like this, it's weird. Sato was OOC in this kissing scene, IMO. Their first kissing scene was better and very natural.
To be fair, Takagi had just nearly died when Satou rescued him, if someone you knew nearly died I think a little 'OOCness' from relief wouldn't go amiss *couldn't figure out a better example :/*.
On Takagi not starting the kiss, his personality isn't as forward as Satou's at that sort of stuff, plus he was absolutely freezing and almost asleep from stayin awake so long...

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

I disagree about it being OOC. If I was afraid the person I was dating was going to die, and then I narrowly saved him, I would sure as hell kiss him! This scene was also very similar to their first kiss in that something happened to him, she shows up and pounces on him with a kiss.

I agree with this. It seemed very natural to me. She was worried the whole day about him and when he's finally safe it would make sense that she'd be relieved enough and happy enough to kiss him. Especially since she's the one with the straightforward personality.
It doesn't always have to be the guy rescuing the girl

Well, we've still got Makoto, Heiji, and...well, most of the guys in DC. If there's trouble, other than Takagi, they'll usually be rescuing the girl, rather than vice versa.
Considering that trend with DC, it's a nice difference to have Takagi being in trouble and Satou being worried.
...it's also a double standard of sorts, so when girls are doing the saving, it stands out more. Believe me, the ratio is still largely imbalanced for guys saving girls VS girls saving guys if we take into account aaaaaaaaaaaallllll examples.

Spoiler:
The ratio was almost 100% guys save girls years ago. Now most girls in shounens are ridiculously powerful. When girls gets captured on DC, it is because they are caught by surprise or something that don't involve them fighting. How often do we see Ran LOSING a fight?
And Takagi gets kidnapped all the time, but most times he just manages to flee on his own, so I agree with the fact it was an nice difference seeing Saito saving him.
I think Detective Conan has a decent female saviour : male saviour (and also female rescuee : male rescuee (if that word even exists)) ratio. It would be an interesting statistic, I guess I'll keep my eye on it while re-reading the series next time. Maybe I'll make a pie chart and analysis. Ran and Conan, for example, have rescued each other so many times, I bet there won't be a big difference between who saves who more often. Personally, I do welcome the trend of girls saving guys too. But most of all, I enjoy situations where a person can save themselves, or if not at least acts pretty smartly, like Takagi who remained calm and rational.
i always think in their relationship it's always sato to kiss takagi and takagi never kiss sato...
bombing case, blind date case, stake out case, let it be, and finally in this case, it's always sato to ask takagi to kiss her... i think takagi is coward as a boyfriend, he always consider his position in police department that sato is his senior... this kind of relationship isnt good. is it?? poor sato
