Jodie spoke aloud about the time when Rikumichi Kusuda along with the two other men were asked to pick up Conan's phone and when Akai took Conan's cellphone off him using his right hand, Conan had an panicked look on his face, I don't know what Conan said to Jodie but I think he probably made up some excuse about why Akai would use his less dominant hand.

So far both Yumi's ex boyfriend from the previous story and this lady have found Conan to be interesting.

Are we sure that she noted that he specifically picked it up with his non-dominant hand? Because that would make it a lot more suspicious to her than if she just noted that he picked it up.

Also, someone noted earlier that Akai wouldn't have asked if Scar Akai was her boyfriend so as not to hurt her... but the whole pretending to be dead thing hurts her as well . I dont think he minds as long as it helps his objective. Plus, specifically asking about Scar Akai allows him to get her opinion on him.

and reading it made me wonder (after I had done some acrobatics from too much hype) Why did Akai show himself to Bourbon (during the bBell Tree express) without telling Conan?
Because this chapter heavily implies Akai did it without telling him and I always thought it was part of the plan...
any ideas?
Only thing that I managed to cook up in my brain was that maybe Akai wants to keep him close and is confident Conan and others can keep themselves in check while he(as okiya) investigates him...

I think Akai was listening in on Kid and Bourbon's conversation as well, so when Kid told Bourbon that the explosives were in the train and he decided not to detach the car, Akai had to intervene and break it off.  So I don't think it was necessarily part of the plan.

I thought of her too and the woman is suspicious(maybe the killer) but Chianti was shown not to be that smart at tailing people,  she knows just to get the whole rifle out the window so that everyone int the street will see her. Not to mention that Haibara would've felt her. Also in the Cbox it says she is pregnant. wut?
checking up again it seems she has a big belly, but she's still suspicious

The side note at the end of the file said that she's pregnant, that's why.  It was also mentioned that pregnant women go to the temple to pray often, so the possibility of a disguise is still there. Since it would make her less conspicuous.

THE WOMAN IS EISUKE IN DISGUISE Sorry, I just had to say that since one person always seems to suspect him.

Anyways, I'm not too fond of the Chianti theory. I just don't see her dressing up as a pregnant woman. At all. Even for a disguise, I can't see her doing that. Although, does anyone remember Fusae Campbell? When I saw her, I couldn't help wondering. They do resemble each other slightly, and there's already immense speculation about a connection to Akai. However, I doubt she's pregnant. The question is if the woman's really, actually pregnant. I don't see much reason to fake it for a disguise for a shrine visit. You could go there pretending to be praying for luck in love.

Right now, I'm reminded of how we met Sera and Amuro at the same time to add to the suspects for Bourbon. This woman (and the guy in the mask) with Yumi's (ex?) boyfriend makes for at least two new suspects for BO members, whether a new one or old and disguised. I think Gosho's trying to pick up the pace a little.

...Also, I couldn't fit this in anywhere, but I imagined a hilarious possibility for the woman while writing this: GIN. No way that's who "she" is, but... just the mental image of Gin disguised like a pregnant woman... It's so funny. XD

Which raises some questions...how is this case connected to BO? must be if she's there.
Otherwise her thoughts won't make any sense.
