He's got a secret rendezvous with Agasa, but he might also be Bourbon, who missed Conan and is taking them along on a trip to a competition because Kazuha really missed Ran and he got some BO info out of a case (not that Bourbon wouldn't have BO info anyway).  This is all hinging on Agasa being Anokata, though.

What's with the Heiji hate? well the Sera hate too but at least I can understand that she's been on screen a lot lately and that if someone doesn't like her character much it could be annoying.

Heiji is hot-headed but funny, a peer with whom Kudo can talk to and an intelligent detective. Some of the cases he has appeared in have been very good and he is definitely a likeable character. Also I find it amusing how they jest wit each other, their smirks are priceless.

Heiji receives a letter from Wakamatsu, the preseident of a design
company and an aquaintance of his (Heijis) mother. The content of the letter was from the murderer who killed Wakamatsu.

He wants to meet Heiji and confess his crime, but 'there's the problem of being seen at your home. I am a warped existance made by mankind ...
I'm an illusion that cannot be seen fair and square ... If you want to meet, it will have to be on the night of the next full moon. I will wait at the house of the killed man.'

At the end of the letter there's Wakamatsu's address and the key of his house.

Kazuha went to that house with her friends and saw a creepy person with long hair in the bathtub, but suddenly the light went on and off and then a piece of paper with the words "What disappeared was merely my flesh ... do not mind the letters (of the alphabet)" was in the bathtub.

Next to the person sitting on the wall of the bathtub "EYE" had been engraved, but that,too has disappeared.

Wakamatsu was also stabbed to death in the bathtub. There had been blood on the tip of his fingers, thus a dying message should have been there, but it had disappeared. (It could be seen that a tile had been switched, so it was obvious how the message had disappeared.)

The five of them go to Wakamatsu's house. (Sera also wanted to go, but Heiji told Conan to be smart and refuse).

At Wakamatsu's house there are his wife and son, the managing director, the chief designer, the secretary and a maid.

The son dies after eating the Baumkuchen (a sort of layered cake) that the managing director brought. The chief had tasted it first and said he didn't need it. The maid, who was the first to discover the victim cut the Baumkuchen. The secretary had distributed the black tea to everyone.

It's been a looong time since we had quite gruesome murders like this  :D (<--- this cheesy face doesn't mean I love murders!). My random thoughts thanks to Spoilers are as follows:

-"I am a warped existance made by mankind" This is thrilling, what the writer (and supposed to  be murderer) means by that? I didn't go far as much to say s/he was a deformity/homosexual  ;D possibly s/he had some trouble with appearance. Plus s/he had "problem of being seen" (at Heiji's home) is it safe to say s/he's Hattori's (family's) acquaintance as well? The chance s/he was afraid of being mistaken for someone else or being recognized and misunderstood are high imo. Another random possibility is that s/he suffered mental disease but somehow aware of it and wanted Heiji to prevent another murder.
-The next made me go O_o with "What disappeared was merely my flesh" I'm clueless about this (and it's creepy @_@). Any suggestion?
-Looks like Heiji went there twice, correct?  ::) first secretly with the key and second with Conan and companions ... while other family members and acquaintances of the victim were at home.
In anycase I'm looking forward to a scanlation to see the right chronological order of these events

My only worry for this case is that it reminds me of werewolves. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them, it's just the dark atmosphere (which the implication of werewolves even adds to this), the complicated case, the seclusion from the outside world...all of that may crumble beneath

Please Gosho...don't make Ran and Kazuha too scared in this one. I didn't mind too much in the demon dog case, but with all this one is looking up to be, I don't want a bunch of mindless screaming from the girls to get in the way OTL
