Not only that, but we still have the Bourbon thing going on right now. Why to try to insert more B.O. when he still haven't resolved that long arc. Considering that for more than a year now there wasn't a B.O. case, making a B.O. related case which is not related to Okiya/Akai/Bourbon, is just stupid.

To be fair, the dark footprint/contact with the Black Org case (Conan in the locker) was pretty much unrelated to Vermouth despite being in the middle of that arc. Akai had a cameo or two, but it was nothing very plot substantial. (Conan learned from Ran Akai was FBI but the readers learned that in golden apple)

Yes. I know.
However back then, I believe fans had a little more patience than now, and then the Vermouth thing was flowing better because we had Jodie, Akai, Vermouth, and Haibara was still important.
However, what did the dark foot print case ever involved into? Nothing. I don't see the point in yet another case that comes out of nowhere and turns into nothing more that something that will (or won't) be resolved at the very end.

Actually, that dark foot print gave:
- Some understanding about Vodka not being as cunning as aniki
- Gin ragingly opening lockers by simply feeling the disk then smiled and said he was being silly - no really, I think he was always soooooooooooo close to killing/getting Conan like the "kill the kid" phrase
- And most importantly, there might have been a reference to Vermouth in that case, the "women" and "cat" thing, then some Bo's purpose

You know, I saw this topic listed as the last post of this board and I immediately thought of Wonder Woman whose civilian name is Diana Prince.
