well... for me ... even though she cries a lot , she is still strong( also accd. to Haibara on ep 401 )
and she cries a lot now ... maybe it's because Ran and shinichi aren't together anymore unlike old times XD
don't you think so?

and i have many reasons in my mind what the newer episodes have when the older episodes doesn't.
such as
- large distance from shinichi ( ran's point of view of course   )
- more dramatic cases ( such as the strawberry episode where the woman killed her own 'soon to be husband' )
- realizes that shinichi is/may be lying to her

blah blah XD

it's only MY OWN opiniong though

that is exactly WHY i made this thread.. so we can discuss it!.

so mind to share more of your opinion?

For future reference, Anime Only/Anime Original (AO) episodes are not canon, meaning they have nothing to do with what happens in the manga - these cases did not happen to the manga characters.

AO = Anime Original.

It's more commonly known as "filler". Basically, it's an episode which only exists in the anime and thus has no relevance to the plot or to the sub-plots in any way. You can find which episodes are anime originals using this list (http://www.dctp.ws/DC_Subbed_List.pdf : They are the "tv originals" under "based on").
