LOL, no, i think it will start at 550

well, if we're to go by the most recent anime episodes being based on vol 64ish (according to the sub list, as I don't read the manga so I don't know myself), and vol 64 was released on april 2 according to wikipedia, the anime's around 3 months behind the manga, sooo ~12ish episodes I guess from where we are now. So I hope you're right, or we may be lookin forward to a lot of anime original cases :V

Vodka informs Gin that Akai Shuuichi appeared in the news footage of trial of Imperial Capital Bank robbery.

ジンは赤井を撃ったキールに話を聞くことにする。
Gin decides to talk to Kir, who shot Akai.

毛利探偵事務所に
「毎週送られてくる赤いＴシャツのなぞを解いてほしい」
という依頼電話が入る。
Mouri Detective Agency gets phone request to “Solve the mystery of red T-shirt that is received every week” (received by the person who made the phone request).

コナン、小五郎、蘭の３人が指定された米花百貨店に行くと
「デパートオリジナルブランドの黒いキャップを買った客を教えろ」と
騒ぐジョディ（とキャメル捜査官）。
When Conan, Mouri, and Ran go to the Beika Department Store, as specified by the client, they find Jodie (with Camel wit her) making a fuss, demanding “Tell me the customers who bought the department original black cap!”

ジョディは右のホオに火傷のある男が買いにきてないか
知りたかったのだがデパート側では覚えてないという。
ジョディは銀行強盗の人質の中にいたその男を探しているらしい。
Jodie wants to know if a man with burn on the right side of face came to buy but the department doesn’t remember. It appears that Jodie wants to find that man, who was one of the hostages in bank robbery.

ジョディ、キャメル、コナン一行がその場を去ったあと
店員に話かける男（白髪、メガネ、目が細い。昴という人？）
After Jodie, Camel, and Conan leave, a man (white hair, classes, thin eyes, named Subaru?) talk to department employee.

キャメルはトイレで右頬に火傷のあるキャップをかぶった男を見かけて
追うが見失う。
カフェでキャメルがトイレから戻るのを待っているジョディは
コースターに『逃げろ　このエリアは危険だ』と
書いてあるのに気づく。
Camel sees a man with burns on right cheek, wearing cap, in the bathroom but loses sight of him. After seeing Camel come out of the bathroom from the café she’s sitting in, Jodie notices the message “Run. This area is dangerous” written on the coaster.

依頼人が来ないので帰ろうとする小五郎たち。
エレベータの前の紙袋に気づくコナンと蘭。
汗だくで「それに触らない方がいい。爆弾だ」という中年男。
中年男はトイレで後ろから気絶させられ覆面男の手で
体に爆弾を巻きつけられていた。
Since they don’t find the client, Conan and the rest begin to leave when Conan and Ran notice paper bag in front of elevator. Dripping in sweat, a middle-aged man warns them “Better not to touch it. It’s a bomb.” The man says he was knocked out from behind, and a masked man wrapped bomb on his body.

中年男は犯人（覆面男）に脅されエスカレータや階段前にも
同じ紙袋を置いたという。
犯人は警察が百貨店に近づいたりフロアから一人でも逃げたら
爆弾のスイッチを押すと言っていたらしい。
犯人の要求は１３着の赤いＴシャツの送り主を突き止めること。
送り主はこのフロアにいるらしい。
The middle-man, threatened by the culprit (the masked man), left similar paper bags in front of escalator and stairs. The culprit apparently stated that if police gets close to department store or anyone gets out of current floor, he/she will press the switch of the bomb. The culprit’s demand is to find the sender of 13 red T-shirts, who is apparently on this floor.

Look like Akai that appeared in the bank is not BO member or Bourbon, otherwise why Gin minds about Akai appears in the bank. The probability of Akai and Okiya is the same person is declined and the possibility that Okiya is BO member or Bourbon is higher now. [/spoiler]

These new spoilers are more exciting than the old ones. I hope these are real. I wonder if both sets of spoilers are true, but it seems that the older set contradicts the current ones since the new ones mention nothing about Gin giving Bourbon a gun in a car. I find it ironic that the color red is important in this case. It's strange that Gin and Vodka would be in the dark. Maybe fake akai was Vermouth or Bourbon works under Vermouth instead and they have decided not to inform Gin... kinda silly if you ask me. I still believe that regardless of who Okiya is, fake-Akai (Fakai?) is definitely not Akai. That whole shooting with the right hand thing convinces me.

The "mystery" Akai does look like Kir. Maybe, to trick the organization into thinking the real Akai is dead? All she has to do is reveal herself and make up some good alibi story as to why she's dressing up as Akai. She might as well have sent that note to Jodie...but, it'll be cool if it was Okiya who did it.

(A joking spoof theory on Kir would be that she got so emotionally distraught from that very "day" that she decided to become Akai!! Psychological mental break-down! Hahahaa.....  ) 

Looking forward to the next part! How coincidential to use "akai" shirts while a fake Akai is among the crowd of shoppers (and the real one too, possibly). Hoohoohoo...  (Bourbon, o' Boubon..?)  And poor victim guy chosen to be a suicide bomber. But, a person wearing a mask? Hmmm..  Plus, the fake Akai walked by in the men's room (most likely, to find out about those bombs).   

Edit: Nevermind, the burnt marks are on both sides of mystery!Akai's face. .....

By what logic did they come up with that, or was it just a way to distinguing Akai pre-explosion/assasination and Akai post-explosion/assasination. Also I read someone say that the burn is on the wrong side of the face. Could someone also explain that?

I think that's because some of us believe that this "Akai", appearing out of the blue, is too obvious. If Akai faked his death, he wouldn't appear simply in daylight. It's too easy to say that this "Akai" is Akai. I'm surprise not many of you are thinking this way and easily assume this "Akai" is the real guy. O.o 

As for the burn marks, this "Akai" actually has them on both sides of his face.   I'm the one accountable for saying that he had a burn mark "on the wrong side of his face". That was simply a joke speculation awhile back.

If the handwriting on the coaster is Shuu's there are only a few possibilities
1: Akai is alive and is either Okiya Subaru or the mysterious burned man with the hat
2: There is someone who knows Akai really well and is really good at imitating Akai's handwriting who is helping the FBI in the department store. It could be Kir, but when would she have the time to learn how to imitate Akai's style since she probably just met him in Red vs. Black? It would be mind-bending for a loyal BO agent to help the FBI. I don't know much about imitating handwriting, but being left handed is probably helpful for copying a southpaw's writing style. If Jodie was smart, she'd take the coaster and fingerprint it.

One thing is almost certain, mysterious Akai (M-Akai) seems to be tailing Jodie and the FBI: first the bank and now here where they are examining the hat. Until Camel runs across M-Akai, Jodie still hasn't told any of the other agents about the "apparition," which I think is pushing the plot at the expense of logic. Also why is Subaru in the same store as the FBI and asking the same clerk questions? Is he tailing Jodie too, or is he tailing Conan?
If Okiya is Akai as I believe, Conan informed him about the bank. Okiya has begun to follow Jodie (and Conan?) to take precautions since M-Akai seems to be targeting the FBI.

In any case, the next two chapters are going to be epic. This crime was neatly constructed to confine everyone important to the same floor. Of Subaru and M-Akai, one is likely the real deal or at the least a friendly, and the other one is likely a B.O. agent. Will they meet or manage to avoid each other? My prediction is the next chapter will focus on the red shirt crime and won't have Conan and Okiya meet M-Akai (unless there is a cliffhanger). The third chapter will have all the action in that regard.
I think it would be against Jodie's character to run away, so she's probably in this mess too or at least tried to get back upstairs to where everyone is to find Akai.
Also, Conan is in trouble although he doesn't know it yet. He doesn't know Subaru or M-Akai are hanging around in the store unless Camel tells him in the next chapter. The problem is Camel may be stuck downstairs. Conan is probably going to be the one who solves the crime unless Okiya Subaru wants in. Conan has already solved crimes in front of Okiya and fake-Akai previously which already means he is suspicious in their eyes. If Conan uses the dart on Kogoro, there is a possibility that the B.O. agent will see and catch the trick. Also if Subaru is Akai like I suspect, if he doesn't know M-Akai is lurking and helps Conan solve the crime, then he will be suspicious too.

Part of the reason why I think that the person playing dress-up right now is Bourbon and not Vermouth is that if Bourbon is disguising, it raises the stakes and is more exciting. If M-Akai is Vermouth, Conan solving crimes in front of her is not so bad since she already knows Shinichi's secret. (Not that this is a good reason, it's just that after playing up Bourbon for a while, one hopes Gosho would go through on introducing him ~90 chapters later)

We know a couple things about the crime. The person must have a good view of the room to be able to patrol everyone in it and to keep them from escaping. All those clothes racks limit one's line of sight.
Also, how does this person know the sender of the 13 long sleeved red shirts is on this floor, yet not know who this person is? (Note the season appears to be warmer since Ran is in short sleeves and the shirts on sale also seem to be short sleeves)
Apart from the floor itself, the security office would be a good place to observe from. The criminal in the security office observing someone buying a red shirt through a security camera would explain why the person would know the shirt sender is here, but not know who that sender is.
Another possibility is the guy tied bombs to himself and faked the story in the bathroom. (Is it the same one where Akai and Camel met?) The direction of the tape will probably help determine if he tied himself up. If you are right handed and are wrapping tape around yourself you will probably wrap it clockwise. If you are right handed and are wrapping someone else you will wrap it counter-clockwise. (Flip the directions for a left handed person.) The guy has a heavy duffel bag over his right shoulder which would appear to indicate he is right hanged since it seems natural to me to hang a heavy bag over one's dominant shoulder.

Gin is figuring out that there seems to be a limited area in town, the Baker and Hyde wards, where the annoying incidents (for the B.O.) seems to happen. I wonder if that's going to put Kogoro back in the crosshairs?

It's funny that Jodie can't keep her act together in front of Ran, although to her credit she is in the middle of a mysterious appearing dead boyfriend crisis.
