Except the fact that Vermouth and Kir are both attractive.  Maybe he just doesn't like American guys, cause he sure likes the girls.

Maybe because Camel will turn out bad in the end...and all the good-looking characters will turn out good?

just thought about a funny scene for the end of the case....
imagine Megure und Takagi walking out of the restaurant and spotting Jodie and James .... and then Takagi recalls the Pandacase and thinks... wait a moment... what does the hostage from then have to do with these FBI!? ;)

Good. We don't see funny moment from James so often. But Jodie and Camel, on the contrary...

Well, Conan hasn't been questioning a lot of 'new' characters lately.

the way Gosho-sensei is making suspects nowadays is so stereotype that die hard fans can easily spot the culprit from the innocents,,

i think....
Deduction on the case
Spoiler:
our culprit called the victim to a specific stall in the bathroom that was next to the one he was in. He dropped a cellphone in the toilet before the victim came and closed the lid. The candy was similar to the ones he knew his friend always carried around. The victim was probably some sort of truck driver that carried candy on his long drives, by habit brought it with him to this meeting. The culprit understood his habit of eating that specific candy and had bought one similar to the victims. Next he waited for the perfect opportunity to stand over the stall, poison the victim and at the same time took his phone. Camel came after the moaning stopped and found the victim dead. Camel immediately ran out to seal off the restaurant. The culprit simply slipped out to the restaurant. Our culprit who killed the victim is none other than Amakasu Tooru! his right fist was clinched the whole time, its unnatural, along with the hoodie, facial expressions, and attitude. He was sweating because he was nervous, he then smoked to relieve his anxiousness, and didn't want to be found out he had heiji's accent. If it was spicy and made you sweat, why keep your hoodie on, as well as not order something sweet(if he did it wasn't on the table, and means the waiters took the plates thinking he had left, but instead went to the bathrooms to kill someone)?my guess is that he may be hiding something under their, like scratch marks. Notice he was smoking with his left hand but his chopsticks was on the right. This is probably because he finished his meal a long time ago and poisoned his friend with his right hand(eliminating the possibility the ramen made him sweat), and thus wanted to avoid using his right palm.he didn't order any dessert because he didn't intend to stay long. Kogoro never stated who had which dessert if i'm not mistaken, the one without the dessert or rather, the one who came most prepared is  our culprit. He expected an early dismissal if you will. Again ,I think their should also be a mark on his arm , i don't think our victim would go down without a struggle, since their was no sign of him scratching at his own neck i assume he instead grabbed the culprits arm, especially since his body was leading to the right and his eyes looking up.
do i even need a spoiler box here?

Yeah, a lot of the time, I'm more excited about plot-related stuff than cases XD, though I do try to reason some of the cases, depending on what kind of case it is.

Oh my, that's fantastic deduction. Earlier I suspected the fat guy, but now... I'm not sure... :)
But some things don't fit here. About hoodie - maybe Amakasu doesn't have anything under the hoodie, so he simply can't take it off. BUT! There're more suspicious things about him:
1) He holds a cigarette with his left hand, but his spoon in the bowl is placed on the right side. I know, I know, maybe it's nothing, but first guy and third guy had a spoon on the right side too. Maybe Amakasu is right-handed, but he's afraid of using the right hand to smoke, since there could be some poison on it. I guess he didn't have time to wash his hands after leaving the restroom...
2) As you said - on Amakasu table there was NO plate for cake or coffee cup. The first guy have both of them on the table. It means that Amakasu after he arrived he ate a cake and drink coffee, then he went to the restroom to kill his friend. Waitress must have took empty plates, but then Akamasu came back, so he ordered ramen and something else to drink (he had a glass of water or something on the table).
3) As I've read, shio ramen isn't spicy, it's salty, so Amakasu simply lied about it. During the interview he only said "The ramen I ate was spicy", he didn't say what kind of ramen he ate, so the others could think it must be something spicy ramen. That's the only explanation, because if Amakasu made mistake and said meant "salty", it wouldn't make any sense, since salt keeps water in the body, not making sweat.
4) Oh, and how come this guy knows that Heiji is from Osaka? I mean a lot of people from other cities in Kansai region speak like that, so born-and-raised Tokyoite wouldn't know that Heiji is sure from Osaka. Only a person from Kansai region would feel the difference in speaking between a kid from Osaka and somebody from other town or city, right?

OK, the question is "Will Conan or Shinichi present the deduction on the next issue?"  :|
