the timing of death for old man is really suspicious .
if it was suicide ,then when did he add poison??
he had already poured wine before police entered. if tried to add poison after police came on scene then it would stand out
on page 14 last panel, exactly what was in the old man's hand?

Why Sato think it's poison in the wine, maybe it's because of her headbutt plus shock reaction after knowing a truth caused that old man to faint. Now "Takagi's Abduction Case" turned into "Sato's Headbutt Murder Case".

As for the poison, death prevents interrogation and prison. Any rescue will depend on deduction.

Nice theory Boralis, I too believe that the crow will be useful. Wait... Crows like shiny things don't they? Takagi's Notebook had like that metal clippy thing they use to attache keychains and stuff. Maybe the crow will try carrying it to its nest, and it gets heavy so the crow drops it in the middle of the pavement or something and somebody sees it. I know, I know, stupid theory..
Something's fishy, doesn't that poison work like real fast? I doubt that it was in the wine, since if you look closely, Sato didn't give the man a chance to drink. But where is the poison.. Ugh..

OR there have been people observing him all the time (or more recently) because the BO might think he is threatening them and the crow is trained and is there because they couldn't check him up without being filmed.
maybe he drank something of it before he said that it is open?
