I still think it was cute when Ayumi said that, not weird or disturbing. It shows how fond she is of her friend Haibara.

Though, if anything similar had happened between Conan and Haibara our resident AixConan supporter faction would have found "another obvious, undeniable evidence" for their pairing.

Even if washed, cloths still have the scent of the owner (if it's not brand new). And the washing powder brand is still saying something about Haibara then. Since it would be "haibaras used brand".

I find it weird that everything is interpreted sexually by some people. Especially when it's something innocent like the friendship between two girls.

Well, I remember some Conais trying to argument that Haibara humming (a note) after she had no longer to disguise as Conan after the desperate revival arc was a proof of their pairing. I know what I am talking about.

I think most of the people here were kidding about it, but that aside, I don't think most guys would understand Ayumi's action to begin with. Little girls might do that, but little boys wouldn't. The behavior of girls which guys would mostly be unfamiliar with is the behavior of little girls, simply because as children, we couldn't care less about what girls were doing. In that age, we thought that girls are annoying and they were doing weird stuff. Considering that we're not around little girls (at least those who don't have children or those who don't work with kids or those who don't have any little sisters). The behavior of little girls might still be alien to us.

EDIT: hmm.....we're kinda sliding to the couples topic in here. If it turns ugly, then I already claim that I'm also at fault for that.

I don't think there will be any "B.O related" thing in this case. Proof: the car the mysterious guys drove. B.O is much richer and cooler with  their super-expensive cars/motobikes *half-joke, half-statement* However I agree, it leaves much to be desired.
