My thoughts on the current case

First the groom seems to be the prime suspect, so it is likely not him

that leaves the two detectives. The detective that the groom hired seem to be made to look a little shady so it likely not to be him either. So the killer should be the part time waiter, the last one one would suspect. It seems to be a bomb. I am guessing it was setup by a cell phone. I not sure if this was accident or intentional. I got the idea that the bride was planning to kill the groom and might have got her detective to set a bomb. The groom gets in to the car and then one of them sets off the bomb. She would want to kill him for his womanizing. It could be that a wrong number called the bomb and set it off. Itis also possible that the waiter detective wanted his client dead and set off the bomb. I do not think the killer did any thing at the restaurant. It was likely set before they arrived.

Anyway, "the bomb" was really a bunch of decorating materials as stated in the second chapter. You should also read over this thread so far and note the intense speculation about Amuro being Bourbon and blood relationship caused the DNA match.

I like this idea, though for the moment I tend to believe Kamon died from an accident probably caused by wind and imflammbles. Kamon insisted on the nail salon while it was raining heavily. Since she might suspect Banba was her brother and not be sure of the forthcoming marriage, it didn't seem necessary for her to go to the nail salon. As I see it, the nail salon was an excuse for being alone and 2 hours were quite enough if she had sth else to be done, for example, preparing for a  faked death. And the death-scene, with a burnt body and dental records as the only evidence for identification, resembles that of Raiha Pass.

BTW,I was even guessing that Kamon had faked her death, with the help of Amuro, the potential Bourbon ( So she could a body and fake her dental records.), in order to get rid of BO and Gosho intended to give some clues to Akai's survival. I konw the case is likely to be a common one and  this theory sounds absurd.

I'm hoping you're right about Akai. But i'm not too sure about the salon as an excuse to be alone, since she have her nails done anyway. And in that case, which could be the bride relation with B.O. / Bourbon? I hope Amuro isn't he, It will be very dissapointing :/

but I hope he isn't Gin like dude...I hope he is more like he acts here...he's funny guy...
but I hope he just got mixed up with wrong guys and is actually good guy...
who out of his hatred for Akai and necessity does what BO orders but otherwise acts like he wants and is...
a funny detective with outstanding looks and witty intelligence...

I'm not sure about the salon, either. But there had been a half-an-hour gap after the salon and we can't make sure of her behaviours during that time. Considering it is likely a common case, I think there is little chance for Kamon to be related with BO, unless the fire more than 35years ago had been set by BO and she found some clues while investigating her origin.

Since Amuro Ray is the arch-rival of Char, I believe Amuro will be a tough opponent of Akai in the near future.  But just based on Vodka's words, I'm not confirmed of the hostile relationship between Rye and Bourbon and I have certain reservations about Amuro=Bourbon. After all, as Akai claimed in anime 425, Gin was his long-awaited fatal encounter.

In Gundam story，Char and Amuro are antagonistic for their different convictions but respect each other. Amuro seems to be a good guy despite he is a potential BO member and I hope his hostile towards Akai comes from personality rather than vendetta.

（安室「家に行った事はありませんよ！？」） 探偵ってのも怪しい…俺が雇った探偵さんをまくぐれーの切れ者なら…
家に来た時に、ヘアブラシから俺の髪を取り除いて…別人の髪を仕込み、俺に罪を」

安室「あ、いや…僕にそんなスパイのような真似は…」
目暮「それはないよ…たった今、鑑定結果が出て…ヘアブラシの毛髪は、伴場さんの髪だと断定された…」

安室「…という事はやはり…～～」　高木「署まで任意動向して頂けますね？」 伴場「わかったよ！」

毛利に「犯人じゃない証拠だ」と言われて、伴場が脱いだ靴の裏を見る高木。裏の溝にはクリーム
蘭「ケーキを踏んだから…（「いつだね？」） 初音さんが店を出る前です！」
高木「雨の中濡れた路面を歩いたのなら～～彼が車に火をつけて急いで店内に戻ったんならなおさらに！」

目暮「つまり、彼は店から出ていないという事か…」 毛利「最初は伴場が仕掛けたフェイクかと思いました…
本当は何らかの方法で履き替え～～だが、ケーキはそこの若い探偵が落としたが故に偶然踏んだ物だし…

伴場は靴の裏のクリームの事を全く私に言い出さない…しかもあろう事か、雨の中 店外へ出て大切な証拠を台無しにしようとしている…
だから確信したんですよ…クリームはフェイクじゃなく…伴場の無実を証明する証拠だとね…」

安室「で、でもDNAは！？彼女の付け爪の～～」 毛利「彼女本人の皮膚だったって考えねぇのかよ？」
安室「な、何言ってんですか？血縁者でない限りほぼ一致は～～だいいち女性にはＹ染色体がないからすぐにわかりますよ！」

毛利「問題のその皮膚が雨や泥で汚染され、性別の部分が不明だからほぼっていってるかもしれねぇだろ？」
安室「…だとしても…そんな２人が偶然～～」 毛利「出会ったのは偶然かもしれねぇが…惹かれ合ったのは必然だったと思うぜ？　双子だったんだからな…」

ホテル火災の事を伴場に話す毛利。安室が異性一卵性双生児の説明。伴場に彼女の身長が140後半と聞き
安室「異性一卵性双生児の女性の方はターナー症候群で低身長になりやすい…」

伴場「でも…何で付け爪に本人の皮膚が！？」
毛利「同じ火事で助け出された事を聞き、「後は自分で調べる」と言ったんなら…内容は自分達が双子か、DNA鑑定以外考えられねぇ…
恐らく車を降りたその時に…依頼した業者からの電話で結果を…結婚する事が許されない…血のつながった双子だって事を…

付け爪に彼女の皮膚が付着してたのは恐らく…結果に愕然とし…付け爪が外れる程顔をかきむしり泣きじゃくった為…
その時落とした傘の内側に入って風で飛ばされた付け爪を今、調べてもらってるから…その結果が出れば…」

目暮に電話が来て、性別を示す部分以外は伴場のDNAとピッタリ一致し、彼女の遺体からかろうじて取れたDNAとも一致、付け爪の皮膚は彼女のと断定。

高木「じゃあやはり彼女は自殺を…」 目暮「業者も間が悪い…」 高木「明日結婚と聞いて、早く知らせたかったんですよ…取り返しがつかなくなる前に…」

コナン『伴場さんの絶叫が雨音を切り裂き木霊した…彼女がなぜ焼身自殺を選んだかは定かではないが…
もしかしたらやり直す為に戻りたかったのかもしれない…２人をこんな運命に導いた　あの炎の中へ…」

後日…喫茶店ポアロでバイトする安室に弟子にしてくれと言われる毛利。
安室（耳元で）「授業料として事件1つにつき…「～～ほど」お支払いするつもりですけど…」
毛利「マ、マジで！？　採用～！！私の事は先生と呼びなさい安室君！」 安室「はい、毛利先生！！」
コナン『また面倒臭い奴が…』

Kogoro accuses Amuro.
Amuro "So you're saying I left clothes for disguise in the bathroom, say a long wind breaker and knit cap, and I phoned Banba just before the car starts burning, saying 'Sayonara' in a weeping voice...."



Anyway it was a suicide. Kyuu was right, she was an identical twin to Banba with Turner syndrome so she came out looking female, she got the results back on the phone, and was upset. She immolated herself.


Did Amuro just start working part time at the Poirot!?!?!?!? That could be problematic. Especially if Haibara or Sera visit.

Is it bad that I'm really happy this is a suicide case?  It's the second of the series (barring culprits attempting/committing suicide).  If Amuro is working at Poirot, it's going to get really interesting.  We just need to throw Okiya, Sera, Ai, and Conan all in the same room for about ten minutes and see who survives. >:D
