I think Ayumi's kidnapping is just a  red herring as the real target is that rag. I don't know how they got the info or how they knew that the rag is expensive(as a reason why they stole it). But from what I have seen so far it is leading to a BO case.

Anyway the target is not Haibara since other than BO nobody is interested in her.

Like what dk it is pretty much recorded. And I am fairly certain the target is the rug.  In next chapter much to the surprise of the detective boys she will be back telling them that she was released or that Okiya Subaru who was also watching that car probably would give  a hint or two regarding the kidnapping.

I do wonder though if the clothes have something to do with it. In what cases have we seen Haibara wearing that jacket? iirc, she wore that in the mysterious passanger case with Araide/Vermouth and Jodie on the bus.

But yeah, as it seems, this isn't going to be a B.O. case. Since every little clue matters, both the vase and the carpet might have something to do with it.

Assuming Okiya is Akai, I wonder how he feels about being such a stalker.......after kids no less

Here's something no one has mentioned yet that I thought was odd about the case:

For no real apparent reason, Conan goes off on his own to "buy the meat"

Yeah, and he didn't buy it after all. XD It seems like Conan went off and then came back to the others, but they didn't have any shopping bag in market.

Huh. No shopping bag IS indeed strange. I wanted to say that Conan didn't know about the meeting with Sera nor Haibara's appearance on the internet back then, but the lack of meat afterwards still makes the situation weird. Then what did he do? Paying Okiya a visit doesn't sound too far-fetched I guess, but why? Did he have any reason to? And Okiya followed the kids immediately after Conan left, isn't that a bit too fast? There's no decent reason for Conan to send him after the group either.

Other weird things:
1) Ai in Professor's glassses - highly improbable. I don't think you can see person who's holding camera in someone's glasses (normal glasses), not that clearly at least.

I'm not sure about videos, but it's pretty easy to get such a reflection while making photos. You really have to beware for any possible reflections, unless you intentionally want one. It's got a lot to do with angles and stuff. I once made a photo of our pet cat from a pretty close distance, and if you just zoomed in on it without enhancing the photo, you could (obviously a bit distorted because of the eye shape) see me and my surrounding environment reflected in one of his eyes. My face was covered by a digital camera 'though. ^^

2) Ayumi wasn't hurt after spilling the curry on her. Omg, this curry should have been hot as hell and she just took a shower?!

It's a kid's manga, what do you expect? Gosho drawing nasty burns and later on scars on her?

3) Genta's talk about Sera's breast - O_o Since when children became that insolent?

Uhhh ... you've never heard such things come out of a kid's mouth? It's mostly innocently intended. My own nephew asked me what those "big bulges" were on my chest when he was about 4-5 years or so. Nothing weird about it. Isn't it already kind of a definition for a little kid as someone who can flatly say the hard truths with an innocent face? Insolence is their second nature.

Funny moment - Ayumi got Ai's clothes and was like "Yey~!! Ai's scent~!!" XD Dunno what to think about it.

I can understand her excitement for wearing the clothes of a friend as a small kid, but talking about her scent ... That was kinda creeping me out. Like the member in this thread who said the scene of Ayumi taking a bath was "spicy". I mean, SERIOUSLY? It's a small kid taking a bath! Please explain to me what's so spicy about THAT. Not that I will understand it any better, but hey.

Nah. I don't believe Agasa's first love would suddenly taser him, and kidnap one of his "grandchildren". Unless she's mad with jealousy and is trying to make him get together with her. IF they have something to do with the BO-FBI-CIA triangle, I'd place my bets on them working together with Akai.

The car is pretty noticeable 'though, in the sense that it's drawn very detailed. Also, it doesn't seem to be a normal car either. Well, I have no knowledge about car exteriors or brands, so maybe it's just me.

maybe the liquid spilling on it had something to do with them finding out it may be worth a lot.

Maybe that carpet is the evidence to some crime they committed earlier, something they sold without noticing. When they saw Agasa showing it in the video they got afraid and wanted to get rid of it.
Ayumi saw their faces, so since they had to be afraid that they might be recognized (for example by Agasa remembering that they were the ones who sold it which would show where they lived when they sold in on the flee market since they probably lived nearby) they had to take her with them.
This would also explain why they weren't afraid of possible coffee strains when putting Ayumi into the rug despite her being soaked in coffee. Poor Ayumi, first splashed by hot curry, now pressed down in a puddle of hot coffee. And also abduced to make things worse.

Well, we will have Conan save her for sure. They question is how much Okiya and Sera get involved in her rescue and if they will meet face-to-face.
