I think Gosho's saving like most of the cool stuff and returns for the ending.

And the Bourbon arc's length is what killed much of what has been good about it more than anything.

I still think it's Sera. Mainly because EVERYTHING is pointing towards that (as far I know at least) and her character is likely pointless otherwise.

If that was the case, there would've been already a mention of that. BO members are sensitive about family relations and if both sister and brother were in the organization, they would've let that slip somewhere/used it against them (See also: Miyano family) and maybe when they were about to kill Akai, they would've killed his sister too in fear she might rebel just like what Shiho did

There's also the fact that if Sera were Bourbon that it's been mentioned Bourbon hates Akai. Maybe they are related...but Akai leaving the Org would be more reason to keep Sera in? (Like when he was found out she said "Let me kill him, let me do it!")

I dunno, the identity itself doesn't need to be epic, but for sure there's gotta be something really surprising about him.  I'm sure Gosho can do it, I just want it to come faster...

One part of the interview that amused me is Gosho saying that his brother is a manga otaku who basically makes sure Gosho doesn't become lazy/the mangaka George Lucas
