I guess they take it out and feed it, it's in a temporary Kid catching aquarium right now.
I assume that the MK organization borrowed Gin and he sunk the ship when his coworks failed to get the gem. It was more about killing the stupid coworkers.
Kid would be either kogoro, sonoko, or sera.
i think it most likely to be sonoko. she suprised me with her bathroom statement.
she also told sera to use the bathroom in the second floor, maybe to prevent sera from findingbthe real sonoko?

I agree that if Kid's disguised as Sonoko, the bathroom statement would be useful for keeping the real Sonoko hid. There is a factor of just how crowded the museum got earlier, since that would make it easier for Kid to disguise himself and blend in.
Just to be different, though, I'm going to guess Kid's disguised as Ran. It's convenient that she walked off the carpet right before it folded.
Also, Sera's nutcracker was nothing short of EPIC.

This is the reason I think it most likely isn't Ran. I would assume Kid has to be close to the aquarium to pull off anything, and Ran wasn't anywhere near it. Sera or Sonoko is the most likely candidate for Kid at this point.

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but unless SIM card shenanigans are involved, it's not that plausible that the cellphone thing is evidence of Ran being Kid. Ran is using a flip-phone, and Conan lent a (fictional knockoff) Xperia to Kid. Way different phones.
And since there's no indication of SIM card shenanigans, or mentions of Kid not having returned the phone, I doubt it's a possibility. (Remember: mystery settings require to provide all the clues the reader needs to solve the mystery; needing to take a wild guess to solve a case before the reveal is inelegant.)

To be fair, the mystery just happened. We've only been given the front of the mystery, not the meat of it. It's impossible to surmise who Kid is at the moment due to lack of... anything. It can be logically narrowed down, but that doesn't mean actual evidence won't break that narrowing. So as of right now, everything is basically a wild guess, just some with various levels of logic behind them.

Note there are three and also note how Sera is acting. It would not be hard to reason that KID figured she either a detective, or assistance. Otherwise why was she there. As for Conan KID already knows about Conan the detective. So while they might have not met as in hi, i am a detective, it is easy to see a reason for kid to believe that.

Good theories here. As a KaiShin fan, I approve of any interaction between Conan and KID that may be misinterpreted as bromance.

But I also thought that Sera may have gone to the bathroom to check if KID's around, and she caught him, or was about to catch him, so KID disguised as her instead. The text Ran got was probably from an anonymous number telling her to step off the area near the aquarium since it's a trap. It may be from Sera who had just woken up and have somehow figured out KID's plan. <--- far-fetched but that's what I imagined lol

Hey, if I add that to my Sonoko-is-Kid theory, it means Kid sent her a message telling her to move in a certain direction - perhaps because she'd be right in the way of the wire?
Or funnier theory - she got Ran out of the way so that he didn't have to involve a girl in the actual trick - ignoring Sera is, actually, a girl. This would be rather funny.
