Could create a weird subplot where the time pool only surrounds Japan. Eisuke comes back 25 years old, wearing contacts and thus inexplicably hotter, freaks out that Ran is still in high school, kicks much ass, retrieves Pandora, smashes it, which makes time flow again causing Shinichi to instantly age right back up and meanwhile achieves godhood and ascends to a higher plane of existence.

Or he'll never appear ever again except in some kind of "happily ever after" ending montage with his sister.

Eisuke never left Japan, he's spending most of his time in a bar ranting with Araide about how they both were kicked out of the story!

I also feel sympathy for him, that's why his decision is not indifferent to me. He surely doesn't know what he may be getting into. I also feel pity for him because of his unrequited love for Ran (although I am happy they don't get together, as I root for Shinichi).
You guys aren't alone. I'm a fan of Eisuke too. He's one of my favorite characters and I wish he would come back.

you generally can't be a highschooler consultant detective either, but apparently they're all over the place in Japan :P

Well, in Japan they've probably gotten used to the fact that it seems to be impossible to save the world once you're over 19, so they're happy to let teenagers do whatever the crap they want in the name of justice.

I have nothing against Eisuke either, he seems to be a very nice and intelligent boy, but the problem is that he seems to be a little frail to be a field agent.
Thus, I'm not sure what to answer in the poll

He did the right thing, IMO. Like sure, he's a wimp and all, but with training and all that jazz, he could like... really be badass.

I would find it hilariously amusing though, that if he comes back in the finale, and shoots a minion of the BO, and then when he turns to everyone to say 'Hi' he trips on a piece of wire or something. :P

I mainly just want Eisuke to come back so Ran can be with him instead of Shinichi.

BTT:
I kinda think now that Eisuke will be important to the plot on day.
I really need a year off to proof all my theories about DC !!
