He's an Affectionless Psychopath, which means it's very, very, VERY difficult to make him consider anyone or anything "personal". However, he's certainly got some serious issues with Sherry. If she was just a runaway, killing her would be no more important to him than stubbing out a cigarette, and no different.

Well techically its not that important to him after all since he doesn't really care who kills her. I only think hes a little interested is becausehe knows some guy I helping her. So hes curious.

As stated by haibaraai4869m, Gin said Shiho was a fairly important member to the BO, if only because her intelligence, that managed to scape the BO from a situation that should be impossible without inside help (or either cutting off your hand or shrinking yourself and since no blood was found and an adult shrinking is just ridiculous...), add the fact that she remains free, alive and may have some insider information (it seems she didn't want Shinichi to hear the tapes left by her sister, she has some info she didn't share and believes Conan shouldn't hear) and she becomes an important target. And all this before she started placing bugs in his car, and after that escaping alive from a direct confrontation with some unknown person adding more questions. If he didn't just kill her in the spot it's probably because he wanted some questions answered before.
