Your translation is close, but not quite right:

埋めた(umeta) is the active past tense of "to bury", so we know that someone was burying somthing.
The の(no) particle doesn't indicate posseiveness if it follows the verb. Instead, it represents a nominalisation.
見た(mita) is the past tense of 見る(miru) - to see.
よ(yo) is simply a particle for emphasis, kind of like an exclamation mark.
A possible translation would be: "I saw you burying him/her!
Which makes sense, considering what we know of the story.

I was thinking of it with hiragana, but I'm not a kanji expert. The only words I could recognize are "mita yo".  I think Tanathoss got it and it makes sense.

As for the bomber, I would think it would have to be the man with the bomb strapped to his chest...but I have no idea what the meaning of the shirts is. As for the cashier acting strange, I think she is worried of what the bomber might do if he finds out she is the one who was sending the shirts.

Funny thing I was playing a bit Mario Party while reading through the file for the second time (it's like a year++ since I played that game). Just when I came to the part where Kogoro did the zombie thingy and then copied the positions of the shirts, the flag game came up. If someone captured my face expression there, I could have won 10 000$ in AFV.
