You wrote about Wakita-sensei instead of Wakasa-sensei. As if being possessed by a Wakita in the darkness.

It should be Wakasa. Not Wakita. Two Rum suspects with sound-alike names haha.
I was thinking "Wakita? Is he back already?! He's a bit close to the children all of the sudden!" But nah, he's not.

About the case, I believe more than likely that the golfer is the murderer. Him or the woman in glasses (but I think she's someone like Yukiko).
When you introduce someone to Conan and they get bored of the normal cases and just want the org ;-;

Sorry for the typo, guys. I've been discussing Wakita so much recently that his name remained on my head.

I already fixed that.
Spoiler:
Also, the "woman in glasses" is Wakasa as we've seen in the spoiler pics

Funny Coincidence.. Saying Rumi Wakasa is a RUM suspect, you could say her name is kind of a hint: RUM + I (Eye). But to be honest I don't get why she should be a RUM suspect at all?

She's got a suspicious behavior and some people want to think she's a RUM candidate.

I don't think so because RUM myself is supposed to be a MAN: the 3 descriptions Haibara told Conan were all men's descriptions (femenine man, muscular man, eldery man)

My hypothesis is that she's police-related and maybe Kuroda uses her to keep an eye on Conan and evaluate him

Or maybe FBI sent her to evaluate him, but it wouldn't matter if it's police or FBI, both would have the same reasons.

I hope in this case we finally will be told the truth about her. And I would want her to be sent by Kuroda than FBI. Unlike FBI, Kuroda already noticed Conan is not just a child.

I think that this case will contain a useful hint which allows us to do more than just speculate, but I doubt that the official revelation will happen too soon before whatever Aoyama has planned for the chapters around File 1000. The same goes for Kuroda and Wakita.

I am leaning toward a big one that brings all of them together rather than single stories which expose their identities gradually. Something like Episode 345, if not quite on that level.

Spoiler:
The case is unintersting, in my opinion.
Although, I'm wondering who will be tranquillised by Conan.

@1988
Spoiler:
From the text spoilers it'd seem that only the DBs came over to Rumi's home. They've already contacted the police so Megure and Takagi will come next file

We'll have to see what Conan does, unless he call for Agasa and speaks through him like he's done other times

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. RUM + Eye = RUMI.
She is a RUM suspect, because Gosho makes her suspicious and gives her the RUM traits. She even have strength like that of a MAN's. But personally, I don't suspect her as Rum. I think she is the one posting the case details of Kohji Haneda's death (probably his girlfriend or sister), and she's looking for Rum around Conan, etc.

Well Conan got himself in a HUGE pinch. no matter how he solves the case, he'll definitely attract Rumi's attention. I just Hope he tranqs her rather than Kobayashi...
That's possible, especially with regards to the message on his face. However, I also thought that maybe, it's HIS hand that's writing on his face. And the hand under his head is the woman's hand, that is why he needed her to be in the photo, too.

I don't think so that FBI would send someone to lookout, I mean they already have Jodie and Black and besides Okiya/Akai is getting to know his true identity (*close*)

Gosho is in Singapore this weekend (November 12 and November 13) so don't be surprised if there's a break between 979 and 980.

Regarding the case:
Spoiler:
My observations (some are pretty obvious):

1. Instead of a whodunnit, the case is a "howdunnit" and "howcatchem" type of murder mystery.

2. Wakasa-sensei has an idea that Banno Teigo, the pro-golfer, will murder/murdered Iiyama Kurumi. (She "intentionally" spilled the paint so she can bring the DB to her condo).

3. In page 11, panel 3, the chin of the "white woman" with a "ton of make-up", looks similar to Banno Teigo's. Most likely, he is the woman knocking, and it is HIS HAND that wrote the message on his face. And he did some sort of trick to make his skin white (even the thighs) and remove it including the manicure.

4. In page 15, panel 1, there is some dirt/smudge (blood?) at the back of the guy's clothes. But I find it susipicious because the lady's blood doesn't appear to be wiped and it is far from his shoulder.

5. The upside-down photo between his legs might provide another clue in the next chapter.
