If it because Akai and Subaru have different skin tones, that's the anime's fault. Akai was supposed to be a bit on the pale side, but he was given a darker skin. Otherwise their faces match up pretty well.

Even though Conan said Subaru was an ally, Ai still has some doubts about Subaru because she doesn't know his real intentions and Conan refuses to tell her. If Ai was that desperate to ask Subaru about Akemi, she could have walked next door at any time. Ai hasn't, probably because isn't brave enough to do so without the right circumstances. In the information-based relationship between Subaru and Ai, Subaru still has the initiative and he's going to delay because that suits him.

Akai obviously felt really really sad when Akemi died. He was probably guilty that he'd failed to protect her, as he'd promised Haibara. He knows it isn't time for him to face her, because Haibara is probably seriously pissed.
Conan acknowledges that too. He can just imagine what'd happen if they were to meet. So he apparently says no, and then Haibara demands a reason. XD

yeah considering that Akemi only died a few month ago,it's too early for Akai to face Ai,because she'll really be mad when she'll know the truth about Akemi's death.
I'm just wondering if Akai will reveal by himself the truth,or will Haibara discover everything by herself(by confronting Sera for example...I remember Gosho said once that Ai and Sera will confront and that'll be spectacular)
And I'm also thinking,if Amuro discovers that Akai is alive,and report that to the BO,then Kir will be in danger and she'll have to escape...That'll be sad because she still hasn't done,or discovered anything about the BO since Akai's "death".I hope she'll have a more important role as an undercover CIA agent.

Kir is a pretty disposable character really after all the Eisuke plot ended (and thanks god that it did) so I don't expect major things of her.

I sure hope to as well. But I'm a bit worried, since we haven't heard or seen her every since she reported about Bourbon. Except it seems Bourbon was exactly a new member, seeing as he's met Sherry's mom, dad, and sister before.
