I'm guessing the hair is from Okiya's wig, rather than some woman.  As for the lipstick... still working on that.  The comb Okiya had only makes me more certain it was his wig.

I always like it when Sonoko or someone else(now Sera, but mostly Sonoko) talk about Shinichi and another girl and Ran always gets really serious about the matter. Also Sera said about having evidence of it for going to the court, but Ran didn't answer to Shinichi's confession from London and was still serious about it.

In that case, the present day one was caused by the man dropping the yen he was using to buy that beer due to him starting to cough up blood. He then used the money to buy the beer, but he died before he could get it out of the machine. As evidence, there should be amongst the coins in the vending machine some with traces of blood that matches the victim's.

Well, it has plausibility considering it's happened before if I'm remembering correctly :x (the Karaoke case with Eisuke) and it does explain how it wasn't a murder for the last guy at least. I wonder if the first guy had any health problems too.
