Why is this necessary?
Due to the files making their way onto the internet in full much earlier than before, we will be experimenting with having spoiler free discussion threads for all the latest cases. This will give everyone the opportunity to proceed with following and discussing the series in the manner they are most comfortable with.
What happens with the other type of discussion topic?
They stay exactly the same. The topics that we have been discussing the files in while using spoiler boxes need to operate by the exact same rules as before, especially for the time being. There are several reasons for this. Foremost, people may accidentally stumble into that topic (either from the index or without seeing that there is a "spoiler free" topic available). As a result, the old rule of "if DCTP hasn't released it, use a spoiler box" will still apply as much as ever, at least for now.

Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.

The story starts with Sera, Conan, Ran and Sonoko walking through the woods towards a villa, area unknown atm,
Masumis brothers friends from high school called him (Masumis brother, his friends from high school are at the age of 28, 29, the brother should be near that age, maybe 30), Masumis brother had the name Sera too during those years so the people who called him know him by the name Sera (we don't), since the brother was apparently too busy doing stuff he called Masumi to go and crack the case (Masumi ofter asks her brother for hints during cases, and Masumi mentions how her brother was extremely smart during his highschool years)
Sera mentions of how She and her 2 other brothers all have different names
Masumi Sera
2nd oldest brother name unknown, going to have to say it's Shuukichi Haneda because that dude was just boss. Heard a little theory about it and the range of characters fitting to be the brother is very limited
and Shuichi Akai
The 3 siblings mothers last name was Sera, so Masumi took the name Sera, the 2nd oldest brother Was called Sera until he graduated from highschool, their father is dead
Sonoko and Ran notice and mention of seeing a long haired woman behind the trees wearing a Red raincoat and red boots
which makes Sera think out loud "Red Woman... (Akai Onna...)", most likely making her think about herself.
suddenly Conan starts sliding down a small cliff and his legs hit a bog, Sera says that there are many bottomless bogs in the forest so better look out.
Sera and others arrive at the villa where Seras brothers highschool friends gather yearly and they meet Minegishi Tamami who is one of them right outside the villa where they get to know each other, Sera mentions of how Conan is much more talented as detective than she is
So the reason for them coming to the villa was for Sera to crack a case where odd things were happening around the villa for past few years, Tamami says how one of the other people that gather at the villa yearly (4 people) was getting photos printed because they took pictures for Sera of the odd things that were happening around with a digicamera, and the other person, Kawana Sumika, comes and gives the photos to Sera in an envelope and goes right inside the villa.
Right after that the 2 other people, Ninda Jinsuke and Hakuya Masaie appear.
Masaie tells that he and Jinsuke met in the forest by coincidence and Jinsuke tells how Masaie was changing clothes in the middle of the forest, saying that he (Masaie) had gotten stuck in a bog.
Looks like what the people were carrying seems important here?
Sumika was carrying a backbag
Tamami was carrying a shoulder bag thingy
Masaie had a backbag too
and Jinsuke was carrying 2 things a sportbag shoulder thing and extra thin, most likely light weight baseball bat for self defense purposes? the thing the bat is carried in, not too sure what that is.
Sera lived 3 years in America?
The 4 people that gathered in the villa were Hiking and Camping together in the past, used to be 5 and the 5th was called Satoko
There was some murder 15 years ago, in a villa not far from this one, some dude was with a woman he had affair with and this guys wife came and stabbed him to death, attacked the police officer that probably the woman that the killers husband had affair with called in, the killer attacked, fled and is supposedly still on run
So Satoko girl said she had seen this killer "Red (akai) Woman" and the 5 of them went looking for her and during the search Satoko disappeared and wasn't found until a month later because the shoes were next to a bog, the body was in bottom of the bog, the kitchen knife that the wife used to kill the cheating husband was found at the bog and everyone thought that the woman was chasing Satoko until she got caught by the bog and drowned
after Satokos body was found, the 4 people that were camping there when she disappeared started coming to the villa they are currently in
But since "year before last", strange things started happening and they want Sera Masumi to figure out what's been going on
one time window got smashed and huge number of apples were lying in the room
another time the water stopped working and they found out that the water heater tank was filled with red rose petals and probably at the same time the Entrance door was splashed with red paint
And now when Sera who these people called here, the red woman suddenly appears
After the storytime is over, Sera and Conan run outside to take a look and the 4 people start doing certain things...
Jinsuke goes to buy food and drinks from a shop that's around 1 kilometer from the villa they are in, making it ~2 km distance, and the other Villa the Red Woman murder case happened in 15 years ago wasn't too far from this one either...
Tamami goes to do the dishes
Masaie wants to clean the bath and the toilet...
and Sumika who is not a people person, goes to clean the other rooms with help from Ran and Sonoko
The rest, Conan and Sera are outside investigating during this time
Later...
in one of the rooms that Ran and Sonoko are cleaning up (Sumika isn't in the room, but in another room where the door is closed and Ran and Sonoko can't see there), they notice how dusty the villa is, so the villa is most likely not rented by hardly anyone else than the 4 people once a year, because of the murdering and disappearance around the area
Ran and Sonoko notice how loud the vacuum cleaner is, and Sonoko mentions about how it must be powerful and one that most likely uses alot of energy
The door is closed so Sonoko and Ran don't see to the kitchen, but they hear Tamami (after she had finished the dishes) shouting that what do they want for dinner and that she's thinking of starting the preparations for the dinner (Waiting for Jinsuke most likely if they don't have enough ingredients), Ran shouts that they have finished cleaning the Living Room and Sumika right at the same time opens a door and comes in saying that if Ran and Sonoko have cleaned up the living room, if Ran and Sonoko would come and help clean up the "other rooms".
While walking in the villa looking for another room to clean up, Sumika, who is carryin a vacuum cleaner, notices (with Ran and Sonoko there behind her) that Masaie apparently has the bath ready already and since Masaie isn't in the bath they thought that he must be cleaning the toilet
Sumika asks Ran if the baths water temperature is right and Ran tests it with her arm in the water and says it's "just right"
Sonoko notices how the bath water is green and Sumika mentions that it's green bath salt, Ran says that her mother (Eri) also likes to use the green salt while in bath because the salt helps you sweat
And so, Sumika tells Ran and Sonoko that they should finish up cleaning and be the first ones to take a bath, the bath is rather large after all, so the 3 of them can fit there together. And that's exactly what they decide to do then...
Later...
Jinsuke comes in shouting "We're Back!", coming inside the villa with Sera and Conan who Jinsuke met while on his way back from the shop
Sera says that they didn't discover any clues while outside investigating, Conan wonders where Ran is and Tamami who was getting ready to start making the food tells that Ran, Sonoko and Sumika are going to the bath
and now Sumika shouts "What is this?!", everyone in the Villa notices,

Conan and Sera run in the bathroom where they notice how the bath water is full of Tomatoes, Conan grabs some square looking plastic thing that's ontop of the bath (probably there to keep the warmth from going to waste) and Sera puts both her arms in the bath water and pulls up the dead body of Hakuya Masaie (28), Holiday villa guest.
And so, we begin the case of "Akai Onna"?

I feel like finishing writing down the other parts of the case now. I'm going ham with the inspection... There's quite the nice amount of content in the chapters still and it's pretty noticeable now that I do this and actually search every nook and cranny like Edgeworth would say.
Have to recap a bit for part 3 I guess since this one I did a while ago but had to redo it and it made me mad so I dropped it for a while.
Hmm I still really like this and think that that's a pretty good backstory for Imoto Satoko and the holiday villa group. Also the connection that Sera has with the group is way better done than usually.
Title: The Red Devil
A red shudder runs through the villa in the mountains... Bizarre occurrences surround the obscure existence called "The Red Woman"
The story continues at the bathroom where the body of Hakuya Masaie was found drowned in the green water filled with tomatoes. Sera has just pulled the body up and everyone seems rather shocked.
Rans towel seems to fall down a bit and Conan gets "distracted"...
The inspector for the case is Yui Uehara so the villa where they are at is located in Nagano prefecture.
Yui: The person who was killed is Hakuya Masaie, 28... Concerning the murder method, the victim was most likely knocked out with a blunt instrument, and subsequently drowned in the bathtub...
Inspector asks one of the villa guests and a friend of the deceased, Minegishi Tamami (28), that what the victim was doing at the time and Tamami answers:
Yes, Hakuya was cleaning the bathroom and toilet at the time. Each of us that gather at this villa yearly are responsible for specific chores whenever we come here.
Hakuya Masaie (victim, age 29) cleans the bathroom and the toilet...
I (Minegishi Tamami, 28) prepare the meals and do the dishes
Kawana Sumika (28) cleans the rooms and the hallways
Ninda Jinsuke (29) is mainly responsible for the shopping, since the nearest shop is about 1KM away...
Sumika: Well, when we're finished with out own duties, we usually help out the others...
Jinsuke: If I had helped Hakuya with the cleaning instead of going shopping this wouldn't have happened! (Regret)
The last time the suspects saw the victim was
-Tamami: "After lunch, in the living room, when the victim said that he would go clean the bathroom and toilet..."
-Sumika: When I peeked into the bathroom he wasn't there. Steam was coming out of the bathroom, so I thought he might have prepared the bath... These two girls were with me at the time. (Ran and Sonoko)
Ran and Sonoko looked into the bath tub at the time when they went in, in order to check the water temperature, but at that time there were no tomatoes or bodies floating in the bath.
The 3 of them (Ran, Sonoko and Sumika) decided that if they finish up the cleaning fast they could be the first ones to tak a bath... After they finished cleaning (Their chores were cleaning the rooms and hallways), Sumika notices that the bath tub is full of floating tomatoes.
After hearing the commotion that Sonoko, Ran and Sumika were making, Sera and Conan hurried to the bathroom, where Sera immediately "fished out" and discovered the corpse of Hakuya Masaie that was at the bottom of the bathtub.
The corpse of Hakuya couldn't be seen until Sera pulled it up, because
-The water was green from the bath salt
-Tomatoes were covering the surface of the tub
The body was sunk to the bottom of the bathtub with a dumbbell, so hat it wouldn't float up to the surface.
So... After sinking the victim to the ground, the culprit covered the surface completely with tomatoes so that the corpse couldn't be seen at all.
From the Sumika, Ran and Sonoko group, Sumika was the first one to enter the bath, but was only wearing a towel and not carrying bags or anything, in which the tomatoes could have been carried in.
From investigating, the police know that the murder occurred between the time Sumika, Ran and Sonoko-group checked the temperature of the bath water and the time it took for them to go and finish up cleaning the rooms and hallways and come back in order to take a bath.
During that timeframe, the other suspects were... :
-Jinsuke: As Tamami said earlier, I was out shopping... At the shop about one kilometer from here... Walking there takes about 15 minutes. I didn't buy beer or anything. I bumped into Conan and Sera on my way back, the juice cans I gave them were ice cold at the time, that's proof that I'd just bought them at the shop!
Conan and Sera were in the forest investigating various things.
-Tamami: At the time of the murder I was doing the dishes... And started preparations for the dinner, as well. Alone, shut in the kitchen. However, I did talk to Ran and Sonoko through the shut door...
Inspector: Is that true?
Ran&Sonoko: Yes. The two of us were cleaning the living room right next door at the time. Tamami-san asked us: "What would you like for dinner?", then we asked "want us to help?" and Tamami-san answered "I'll be fine, thanks!", so she must've been in the kitchen...
Ran&Sonoko: During that time Sumika was not with us, but she was cleaning the second floor on her own.
Sumika: I came down to the living room to ask the two girls to help me, since we'd progress more quickly that way. From that point onwards, we were cleaning together...
Ran confirms that she and Sonoko did hear Sumika cleaning on the 2nd floor all that time while they were cleaning downstairs, because Ran and Sonoko could hear the vacuum cleaner and the sound of it bumping against objects and walls and such.
So... while Sumika, Ran, Sonoko were cleaning the crime could have only been possible for Tamami to do...?
Conflict between Tamami and the inspector
Sumika mentions how the crime should have been impossible for Tamami because she (Tamami) knows how throroughly she (Sumika) cleans the hallways. It would make it very hard for someone to secretly kill anyone on the second floor.
Jinsuke asks if the killer could have been the Red Woman (Akai Onna) who murdered a person 15 years ago and was the reason for why Jinsuke, Tamami, Sumika and Hakuya (the victim) started visiting the villa yearly. The reason was that their old friend, Satoko, who drowned in a bog was technically killed by being chased by the Red Woman. They think that the woman is still lurking in the forest because in the recent years that they've gathered at the villa strange occurrences have started to happen, which are:
-A window got broken down and someone left a heap of apples inside.
-The tank of the water heater was filled with red rose petals
-The front door was splashed with red paint.
They think that the Red Woman is the prankster and Jinsuke thinks that she also killed Hakuya, to the motive Jinsuke answers that psychopathic murderers motive isn't something he would understand...
Did the red woman sneak in the villa, if the front door was open at the time, knew of Sumikas hallway cleanings and sneaked in, not seen by anyone by pure chance and killed Hakuya...?
Did she leave the tomatoes in the bath as some kind of signature or clue...?

#IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE WOMAN TO BE THE KILLER
Inspector Yui Uehara: We've already confirmed the death of the murderer known as "The Red Woman," Takeno Komayo...
Everyone: But in the news special the other day, they said that she was still on the run?
Yui Uehara: Do you know about the corpse of a girl that was found in a bog around 3 years after the murder incident 15 years ago? (The corpse of the girl that was drowned in a bog was these peoples friend, Satoko)
The truth is... another body was also discovered in the bog. The person had already been dead for 3 years and thus turned into a skeleton.
Since the kitchen knife from that incident 15 years ago was found beside the bog where Satoko and the skeleton were found, we suspected that the body belonged to Takeno...
But Takeno burned down her home before she committed the murder, and without any of her personal information or belongings we couldn't match her DNA with the body.
Then, when her (the killers, Takenos') mother died last week, we (the police) found out that she'd been holding onto Takeno's umbilical cord without telling us... And when we compared it with the skeleton's DNA they were an exact match! We're going to announce it to the press tomorrow... Since it was a case of great interest, the Nagano police are drowning in paperword right now...
The culprit is unknown at the time, since the Red Woman from 15 years ago has been confirmed dead, apparently.... Jinsuke mentions of a self-defense bat he took in order to drive away the prankster and the Red Woman, which makes inspector Yui suspicious..
Inspector decides to let the police investigate the villa further, and tells the villa guests to go to their rooms and wait.
Inside Jinsukes room;
Yui: I see.. So this is the bat you were going to use to protect yourself from the Red Woman...
Jinsuke: Yeah... Though I was also going to use it to drive away that prankster, too...
The forensics investigate the bat;
Forensic:There are no conspicuous marks and the bat doesn't react to luminol, so it doesn't seem like it's the weapon used to knock out the victim.
Though it seems like something had been stuck to it...
Sera notices how there is a fan in a room with air conditioning, Jinsuke thinks it might have gotten left there by an earlier villa guest.
Apparently the weapon used in order to knock out the victim, Hakuya Masaie, was one of the dumbbell used in order to keep the body underwater.
The forensics expert said that judging by the wound and the depression of the cranium that is most likely the case...
The police are trying to contact inspector Yamato.. They don't seem to be getting in touch, though.
Sera suggest to Conan that they should go and do a test with a tomato that Sera stole from the crime scene, to which Conan happily agrees.
It starts raining (again, apparently.) Sonoko and Ran are sitting in a room being scared as always while Sonoko notices something that looks like a woman with long hair standing outside the window. Ran gets scared. And a bit angry too.

Inside Sumikas room, we see Sumika sitting on her bed and we see a black hand knocking on the window. Sumika thinks the person outside must be one of her friends and goes to open it. After noticing the blackout she sees the person holding a knife.
Everyone hears Sumika screaming and starts running there, with Conan holding his flashlight-watch for them to see where to go.
After arriving at Sumika's rooms front door, they enter and notice how she is lying on ground, stabbed, saying that the "Red Woman" was the one who stabbed her.

Have to recap a bit for part 3 I guess since this one I did a while ago but had to redo it and it made me mad so I dropped it for a while.
Hmm I still really like this and think that that's a pretty good backstory for Imoto Satoko and the holiday villa group. Also the connection that Sera has with the group is way better done than usually.
Title: The Red Devil
A red shudder runs through the villa in the mountains... Bizarre occurrences surround the obscure existence called "The Red Woman"
The story continues at the bathroom where the body of Hakuya Masaie was found drowned in the green water filled with tomatoes. Sera has just pulled the body up and everyone seems rather shocked.
Rans towel seems to fall down a bit and Conan gets "distracted"...
The inspector for the case is Yui Uehara so the villa where they are at is located in Nagano prefecture.
Yui: The person who was killed is Hakuya Masaie, 28... Concerning the murder method, the victim was most likely knocked out with a blunt instrument, and subsequently drowned in the bathtub...
Inspector asks one of the villa guests and a friend of the deceased, Minegishi Tamami (28), that what the victim was doing at the time and Tamami answers:
Yes, Hakuya was cleaning the bathroom and toilet at the time. Each of us that gather at this villa yearly are responsible for specific chores whenever we come here.
Hakuya Masaie (victim, age 29) cleans the bathroom and the toilet...
I (Minegishi Tamami, 28) prepare the meals and do the dishes
Kawana Sumika (28) cleans the rooms and the hallways
Ninda Jinsuke (29) is mainly responsible for the shopping, since the nearest shop is about 1KM away...
Sumika: Well, when we're finished with out own duties, we usually help out the others...
Jinsuke: If I had helped Hakuya with the cleaning instead of going shopping this wouldn't have happened! (Regret)
The last time the suspects saw the victim was
-Tamami: "After lunch, in the living room, when the victim said that he would go clean the bathroom and toilet..."
-Sumika: When I peeked into the bathroom he wasn't there. Steam was coming out of the bathroom, so I thought he might have prepared the bath... These two girls were with me at the time. (Ran and Sonoko)
Ran and Sonoko looked into the bath tub at the time when they went in, in order to check the water temperature, but at that time there were no tomatoes or bodies floating in the bath.
The 3 of them (Ran, Sonoko and Sumika) decided that if they finish up the cleaning fast they could be the first ones to tak a bath... After they finished cleaning (Their chores were cleaning the rooms and hallways), Sumika notices that the bath tub is full of floating tomatoes.
After hearing the commotion that Sonoko, Ran and Sumika were making, Sera and Conan hurried to the bathroom, where Sera immediately "fished out" and discovered the corpse of Hakuya Masaie that was at the bottom of the bathtub.
The corpse of Hakuya couldn't be seen until Sera pulled it up, because
-The water was green from the bath salt
-Tomatoes were covering the surface of the tub
The body was sunk to the bottom of the bathtub with a dumbbell, so hat it wouldn't float up to the surface.
So... After sinking the victim to the ground, the culprit covered the surface completely with tomatoes so that the corpse couldn't be seen at all.
From the Sumika, Ran and Sonoko group, Sumika was the first one to enter the bath, but was only wearing a towel and not carrying bags or anything, in which the tomatoes could have been carried in.
From investigating, the police know that the murder occurred between the time Sumika, Ran and Sonoko-group checked the temperature of the bath water and the time it took for them to go and finish up cleaning the rooms and hallways and come back in order to take a bath.
During that timeframe, the other suspects were... :
-Jinsuke: As Tamami said earlier, I was out shopping... At the shop about one kilometer from here... Walking there takes about 15 minutes. I didn't buy beer or anything. I bumped into Conan and Sera on my way back, the juice cans I gave them were ice cold at the time, that's proof that I'd just bought them at the shop!
Conan and Sera were in the forest investigating various things.
-Tamami: At the time of the murder I was doing the dishes... And started preparations for the dinner, as well. Alone, shut in the kitchen. However, I did talk to Ran and Sonoko through the shut door...
Inspector: Is that true?
Ran&Sonoko: Yes. The two of us were cleaning the living room right next door at the time. Tamami-san asked us: "What would you like for dinner?", then we asked "want us to help?" and Tamami-san answered "I'll be fine, thanks!", so she must've been in the kitchen...
Ran&Sonoko: During that time Sumika was not with us, but she was cleaning the second floor on her own.
Sumika: I came down to the living room to ask the two girls to help me, since we'd progress more quickly that way. From that point onwards, we were cleaning together...
Ran confirms that she and Sonoko did hear Sumika cleaning on the 2nd floor all that time while they were cleaning downstairs, because Ran and Sonoko could hear the vacuum cleaner and the sound of it bumping against objects and walls and such.
So... while Sumika, Ran, Sonoko were cleaning the crime could have only been possible for Tamami to do...?
Conflict between Tamami and the inspector
Sumika mentions how the crime should have been impossible for Tamami because she (Tamami) knows how throroughly she (Sumika) cleans the hallways. It would make it very hard for someone to secretly kill anyone on the second floor.
Jinsuke asks if the killer could have been the Red Woman (Akai Onna) who murdered a person 15 years ago and was the reason for why Jinsuke, Tamami, Sumika and Hakuya (the victim) started visiting the villa yearly. The reason was that their old friend, Satoko, who drowned in a bog was technically killed by being chased by the Red Woman. They think that the woman is still lurking in the forest because in the recent years that they've gathered at the villa strange occurrences have started to happen, which are:
-A window got broken down and someone left a heap of apples inside.
-The tank of the water heater was filled with red rose petals
-The front door was splashed with red paint.
They think that the Red Woman is the prankster and Jinsuke thinks that she also killed Hakuya, to the motive Jinsuke answers that psychopathic murderers motive isn't something he would understand...
Did the red woman sneak in the villa, if the front door was open at the time, knew of Sumikas hallway cleanings and sneaked in, not seen by anyone by pure chance and killed Hakuya...?
Did she leave the tomatoes in the bath as some kind of signature or clue...?

#IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE WOMAN TO BE THE KILLER
Inspector Yui Uehara: We've already confirmed the death of the murderer known as "The Red Woman," Takeno Komayo...
Everyone: But in the news special the other day, they said that she was still on the run?
Yui Uehara: Do you know about the corpse of a girl that was found in a bog around 3 years after the murder incident 15 years ago? (The corpse of the girl that was drowned in a bog was these peoples friend, Satoko)
The truth is... another body was also discovered in the bog. The person had already been dead for 3 years and thus turned into a skeleton.
Since the kitchen knife from that incident 15 years ago was found beside the bog where Satoko and the skeleton were found, we suspected that the body belonged to Takeno...
But Takeno burned down her home before she committed the murder, and without any of her personal information or belongings we couldn't match her DNA with the body.
Then, when her (the killers, Takenos') mother died last week, we (the police) found out that she'd been holding onto Takeno's umbilical cord without telling us... And when we compared it with the skeleton's DNA they were an exact match! We're going to announce it to the press tomorrow... Since it was a case of great interest, the Nagano police are drowning in paperword right now...
The culprit is unknown at the time, since the Red Woman from 15 years ago has been confirmed dead, apparently.... Jinsuke mentions of a self-defense bat he took in order to drive away the prankster and the Red Woman, which makes inspector Yui suspicious..
Inspector decides to let the police investigate the villa further, and tells the villa guests to go to their rooms and wait.
Inside Jinsukes room;
Yui: I see.. So this is the bat you were going to use to protect yourself from the Red Woman...
Jinsuke: Yeah... Though I was also going to use it to drive away that prankster, too...
The forensics investigate the bat;
Forensic:There are no conspicuous marks and the bat doesn't react to luminol, so it doesn't seem like it's the weapon used to knock out the victim.
Though it seems like something had been stuck to it...
Sera notices how there is a fan in a room with air conditioning, Jinsuke thinks it might have gotten left there by an earlier villa guest.
Apparently the weapon used in order to knock out the victim, Hakuya Masaie, was one of the dumbbell used in order to keep the body underwater.
The forensics expert said that judging by the wound and the depression of the cranium that is most likely the case...
The police are trying to contact inspector Yamato.. They don't seem to be getting in touch, though.
Sera suggest to Conan that they should go and do a test with a tomato that Sera stole from the crime scene, to which Conan happily agrees.
It starts raining (again, apparently.) Sonoko and Ran are sitting in a room being scared as always while Sonoko notices something that looks like a woman with long hair standing outside the window. Ran gets scared. And a bit angry too.

So.. Part 3, this chapter is pretty beast and I think Masumis somewhat hypocritical standpoint on witches and wizards is pretty interesting also.
The RW Series finale next I think. Who's the real killer and what really happened 12 and 15 years ago. What's the motive behind the strange occurences around the multiple holiday villas and who's the one that attacked Sumiko?

Ninda Jinsuke (29), responsible for shopping and getting food ingredients from ~1km away from the shop, Conan and Sera were with him when he came back from shop and they walked back to the villa.
A girl from the past called Imoto Satoko, died when she got drowned in a bog about 12-13 years ago, the dead girl was the friend of the Holiday Villa Guest group, and they're friends of Masumis brother. Also there was a murder 15 years ago. Could it really be connected to Satokos death?

The Past
Tamami: "That's right, it was 15 years ago... There was a murder at another holiday villa not far from here...
Some company employee was killed, after coming to the villa with a woman he was having an affair with. His wife, carrying a kitchen knife, fell upon him...
When a nearby police officer, who had heard the commotion, entered... The room was a sea of blood...
The white rain coat that the wife had been wearing was completely red... She kept on stabbing her husband again and again... Earning her the nickname "The Red Woman"...
-The killer woman from 15 years ago was never caught. The police officer who came to the scene of crime was attacked by her and she fled to the forest. The woman is still on the run to this day.
-3 years later (12 years ago), after the incident, the current Holiday Villa Guest group+their deceased friend Satoko came to the current villa during the school holidays. Ninda Jinsuke States:
And then, 3 years later when we came here during the school holidays... We all went into the forest to ook for the killer woman because Satoo said that she had seen her (?)...
While we were searching, Satoko somehow got lost... When it became dark we contacted the police to help search for her, but...
She was found one month later...
Her drenched and dirty corpse, that is, at the bottom of a bog....
The body was found because Satoko's shoes were next to the bog... But the kitchen knife that was used in that murder 15 years ago was also lying there.
So everyone thought... That maybe Satoko had been chased by the Red Woman lurking in the woods and got caught in the bog and died!
- The inspectors says in p.2 that the corpse of the Red Woman, Takeno Komayo, had been found and she was dead since 3 years before Satokos body was found.->The killer woman did not chase Satoko and did a suicide after killing her husband?
Seras detective job at the villa is not to find the woman, but to solve the strange things that have been happening around the villa since 2 years ago that the Holiday Villa Group had been gathering there and seen.
Minami:
-One time the window was broken and a huge number of apples were lying in the room...
-Another time the water stopped working, and when we investigated we found the water heater tank was filler with red rose petals...
-And red paint was splashed onto the door...

So the story continues from where Sera and others heard a scream coming from Sumikas room and hurried to the scene where they find Kawana Sumika lying on the floor, she's rather frightened and claims that the red killer woman, Takeno Komayo, who the police had confirmed dead recently, was the one who attacked her...
Sumikas claim:After the blackout, someone knocked on my window from the outside... And when I opened the window... A-a woman with long hair... Suddenly attacked me with a knife! When I tried to run away, she got me in the back!
The existence of the red woman shrouds the case in even more mystery
Conan and Sera ask if Sumika managed to confirm that the attacker was actually a woman like that, but Sumika says that she couldn't get a good look at the attackers face because it was so dark. However, Sumika managed to see a silhouette with a long hair and with the silhouette apparently carrying a kitchen knife, that person shouldn't have been anyone else than the already-dead killer woman from 15 years ago.
>Ninda Jinsuke (29) and Minegishi Tamami (28), old friends of Sumika, run to the scene because they heard Sumikas scream when she was attacked.
Inspector Yui Uehara tells everyone that they should all gather to the living room and stay there until the electricity's restored, since it's dangerous to be all alone in darkness at times like these.
Sera: "Restored? You mean there was actually a power outage?
Inspector: Yes... The substation seems to have been hit by lightning... It's going to take a while to be restored.
The hell? Someone took advantage of a power outage that just happened to occur in order to attack her?
Inspector Uehara confirms the cut wound that the supposed red woman did to Sumika. It's a clean cut but the wound seems rather shallow. They get the antiseptic to help it heal.
Sumika confirms with Jinsuke and Tamami that she was attacked, they start suspecting that the 15-year old umbilical cord that the police suspected to have been of the the killer woman Taken Komayo's may have belonged to someone else and the DNA may not belong to Takeno after all?
Inspector Uehara: That's not the case! The umbilical cord is something that the mother of the red woman, Takeno Komayo, refused to submit to the police all this time, not wanting to accept her daughter's death...
We also received the testiony of other relatives on the matter.
Inspector stops for a second and keeps going afterwards "Only... In that case there's something strange as well..."
Conan asks what was so strange.
"Villas in disarray
... Since more than 10 years ago, we've been receiving complaints from villas around this time of the year...
Not like those pranks you mentioned earlier, where a window was broken and something was thrown inside...
Rather the locks were broken and the villas showed traces of someone having lived there for a while.
We also received testimonies here and there about an eerie figure having been spotted in the woods. That's one of the reasons why the Nagano police department didn't conclude that the skeleton was really the red woman's. Takeno Komayo's."
>Sonoko gets flustered and states that she may have seen the red woman just recently, right before the blackout she says "I saw a silhouette of a woman who was sticking out her neck from the tree's shadow and looking at the villa", outside the living room window.

Inspector Yui Uehara asks Sera who she is exactly.
Sera: I'm Sera Masumi. I guess you could say I'm a female high school detective.
Tamami says that Masumi is actually the little sister of their old classmate, "Sera-kun", and that they asked her to come to the villa with her friends to solve the mystery of the strange occurrences that have been happening around the villa.
Jinsuke says that the brother of Masumi said that he was busy, but Sera-Brother said that Masumi most likely has time now that she has returned from America and is actually a detective also.
>Sera (Masumi) says that she had lived in America the past 3 years, but because she had missed Japan, she decided to come back here. Masumis thoughts: To meet the Wizard... Once more... *glares at Conan*
Inspector Uehara: Anyway, I called a car to come get us. In the meantime everyone should stand by here in the living room!
If you move around in this darkness, we can't protect you.
to other cops: I'll look around the other rooms, so please guard these five in the meantime.
Inspector takes Conan and Sera with her, because Inspector Yamato told to take Conan and Uehara herself has something to ask Sera.
The fact that Uehara and Yamato usually work together made Conan wonder why Yamato wasn't with her this time. Inspector Uehara states that "Inspector Yamato said that there was something he absolutely needed to check out before the press release concerning the red woman tomorrow. So he took inspector Morofushi along and went to do a little questioning..."
>Apparently Yamato and Morofushi were involved in the case of the red woman in the past.
Sera, Conan and Uehara are investigating the villa. Nothing like a long-haired wig, kitchen knife or wet clothes is anywhere to be found.

Conan: I don't think that's the case! The wound on her back is one horizontal slash, right? You can't do that yourself... And if she had asked someone to cut her like that before coming here, it would already have started to heal. Moreover, when I saw her in the bathroom earlier she had no cuts on her back and her arm...
Inspector Yui Uehara wonders who attacked Sumika, then?
Maybe there is indeed something lurking in the woods?

So, then we get to the part where Sera asks; what does the inspector want to ask her?
Yui "Ah, yes... Those incidents that occurred at this holiday villa in the past... Since you were called here to figure out the truth behind them, I though you'd be able to tell me everything I need to know about them... You also have the pictures of those incidents, I believe..."

The incidents for the 2-year time period that the holiday villa group in this particular villa had seen go as follow:
-The window glass was broken and a heap of apples was thrown inside.
-Red flower petals were stuffed into the water heater tank.
-Red paint was splashed onto the entrance door.
*This time there were quite a few tomatoes in the bath tub with the body of Hakuya Masaie found in the water.
Red, Red, Red... They're definitely all things that bring the Red Woman in mind.

Yui Uehara: The truth is that the ones who found the kitchen knife - which had been the murder weapon 3 years earlier - next to the bog where the girl was found... Were inspector Yamato and Inspector Morofushi, who were attending the police academy and worked in a police station at the time as part of their training.
They've been arguing about that case ever since.
-Inspector Yamato insisted that the skeleton that was found together with girl's corpse wasn't the Takeno Komayo, while inspector Morofushi said that it's most likely her...

Morofushi: It was probably hidden under a bunch of leaves... When we found it, it was hidden as well.
Yamato: But three years have passed since the murder! A knife would become rusty in that time, normally!
Morofushi: That's because it was a special non-rushitng knife... I believe it's said to show "not the faintest hint of rust, even after 5 years."
Yamato: Nevertheless... You went after the red woman immediately after she slashed at you with the knife, right!? Then you much have known that there was a bottomless bog in the direction she was taking!! Why didn't you search the bog back then?! *while shouting at the retired police officer*
Retired police officer: I couldn't go after her immediately... I was scared... That woman threw the knife at me, you know?! Looking at me with her horrible blood-stained face!!

RPO: I was traumatized by that..*sob* and left the police...

So the story continues from where Sera and others heard a scream coming from Sumikas room and hurried to the scene where they find Kawana Sumika lying on the floor, she's rather frightened and claims that the red killer woman, Takeno Komayo, who the police had confirmed dead recently, was the one who attacked her...
Sumikas claim:After the blackout, someone knocked on my window from the outside... And when I opened the window... A-a woman with long hair... Suddenly attacked me with a knife! When I tried to run away, she got me in the back!
The existence of the red woman shrouds the case in even more mystery
Conan and Sera ask if Sumika managed to confirm that the attacker was actually a woman like that, but Sumika says that she couldn't get a good look at the attackers face because it was so dark. However, Sumika managed to see a silhouette with a long hair and with the silhouette apparently carrying a kitchen knife, that person shouldn't have been anyone else than the already-dead killer woman from 15 years ago.
>Ninda Jinsuke (29) and Minegishi Tamami (28), old friends of Sumika, run to the scene because they heard Sumikas scream when she was attacked.
Inspector Yui Uehara tells everyone that they should all gather to the living room and stay there until the electricity's restored, since it's dangerous to be all alone in darkness at times like these.
Sera: "Restored? You mean there was actually a power outage?
Inspector: Yes... The substation seems to have been hit by lightning... It's going to take a while to be restored.
The hell? Someone took advantage of a power outage that just happened to occur in order to attack her?
Inspector Uehara confirms the cut wound that the supposed red woman did to Sumika. It's a clean cut but the wound seems rather shallow. They get the antiseptic to help it heal.
Sumika confirms with Jinsuke and Tamami that she was attacked, they start suspecting that the 15-year old umbilical cord that the police suspected to have been of the the killer woman Taken Komayo's may have belonged to someone else and the DNA may not belong to Takeno after all?
Inspector Uehara: That's not the case! The umbilical cord is something that the mother of the red woman, Takeno Komayo, refused to submit to the police all this time, not wanting to accept her daughter's death...
We also received the testiony of other relatives on the matter.
Inspector stops for a second and keeps going afterwards "Only... In that case there's something strange as well..."
Conan asks what was so strange.
"Villas in disarray

Inspector Yui Uehara asks Sera who she is exactly.
Sera: I'm Sera Masumi. I guess you could say I'm a female high school detective.
Tamami says that Masumi is actually the little sister of their old classmate, "Sera-kun", and that they asked her to come to the villa with her friends to solve the mystery of the strange occurrences that have been happening around the villa.
Jinsuke says that the brother of Masumi said that he was busy, but Sera-Brother said that Masumi most likely has time now that she has returned from America and is actually a detective also.
>Sera (Masumi) says that she had lived in America the past 3 years, but because she had missed Japan, she decided to come back here. Masumis thoughts: To meet the Wizard... Once more... *glares at Conan*
Inspector Uehara: Anyway, I called a car to come get us. In the meantime everyone should stand by here in the living room!

Inspector takes Conan and Sera with her, because Inspector Yamato told to take Conan and Uehara herself has something to ask Sera.

Conan: I don't think that's the case! The wound on her back is one horizontal slash, right? You can't do that yourself... And if she had asked someone to cut her like that before coming here, it would already have started to heal. The incidents for the 2-year time period that the holiday villa group in this particular villa had seen go as follow:
-The window glass was broken and a heap of apples was thrown inside.
-Red flower petals were stuffed into the water heater tank.
-Red paint was splashed onto the entrance door.
*This time there were quite a few tomatoes in the bath tub with the body of Hakuya Masaie found in the water.
Red, Red, Red... They're definitely all things that bring the Red Woman in mind.
>Sera and the inspector look at an old group picture of friends from 12 years ago. The picture was taking midday, the same day that Imoto Satoko disappeared.
