Not saying I dislike this theory, especially were it said that akemi might be a half sister to shiho.
That does not seem right to me since akemi was really close to her mother elena as it seems to me.
It sometime bothers me when I think of the years apart, I mean Akemi is older then Shiho by 7 years, and it make me wonder why that big gap between them.
Was shiho born for a reason, or not planed or what.

Also about the main idea of the theory of Elena being the mystery child, it could be a possibility I will not rule out an till conformed by Gosho-sensei.
It does bother there me if there are sisters because as people said akemi would date her cousin, and I dislike those kind of relationships because they do happen that cousins in my family get married and I am against that because it just not my ideal relationship type thing, so I would hate that for my favorite characters in conan.

Cross hands is not a good indicator of identity. In Scarlet showdown, Akai cross hands difference from what he did before, but he's the real one.
