Actually I strongly oppose to that. Excluding some of Kid's movies, this is the worst Kid's case thus far , for me, at least .

I phrased it in the wrong way: I meant that there have been worse cases in all DC, not just the Kid ones. As for Kaitou Kid cases, I've got to agree that yes, this one is definitely the worst .

It's bad but still not as bad as last year's imo (the one with Kid as Sera). Still a shame that Sonoko's parents finally come back after almost 15 years only to be featured in such rubbish. When you look at the Black Pearl case and compare, you can't help but think 'O how the mighty have fallen'.

This one didn't involve any ridiculous solutions, even though the case was rather open ended. That earns points in my book. It beats ceramic/glass guns in the ryoma case, and the magnets-how-do-they-work turtle case Wakari mentioned.

Makoto did kick a freaking column over after Conan broke the other one, that was ridiculous, but seeing Kid get a taunt handed back to him made it more tolerable.
