Haibara is really cute in the way she acts towards Conan. Isn't that an advantage to Conan that he turned back (though she was the one that warned him that it could kill him)

what???? haibara isn't evil at all she would tell him about the prototype antidote when he comes to agasa's house she would test it on him to try to make another one better than that after all she is doing all of the that to make the complete antidote to give conan his life back I don't see her evil at all she was worried on him when she knew what happened,so I don't think she is evill or mean at all.

If you ask me, Haibara was waiting to give Conan the prototype for a very simple reason: she wanted it to be a suprise. A gift. I don't know how long she was going to wait or anything, but that was probably her intention. She knew it would give him great joy, even for a tiny bit of time, and was looking forward to that. (I'm not part of the conanxai crowd, but I think Haibara feels really guilty about making the apotoxin in the first place, and wants to do everything she can to remedy her crimes.)
I'll even go so far as to say she feels slightly guilty for not telling Conan how long the first antidote was going to last. She's not a person to show much emotion, if you know what I mean, so she made sure she could be there to give him a little more time.

Of course, she can only blame herself for putting the antidote in a cold-medicine container. I mean, she knows professor agasa is really absentminded!

But whatever. I really want to see file 655 when it comes out: I want to know how the cards fall at the end of the game. How everything turns out, you know.

Actually, I think Haibara meant for it to be a practical joke. Basically Ai intended to slip Conan the drug at a time and place where his identity will not be compromised, and observe the effects. Ai does have a sense of humor, albeit a twisted one. Conan is the only one Ai could joke around with, as such the relationship between Conan and Ai is more or less based on mutual teasing and verbal jabs. In this respect, Ai is replacing Ran as the "tsundere" role in Detective Conan.

Since Ai would have to test her prototype antidote sooner or later, she wouldn't pass up the chance to tease the grown-up Shinichi for the duration of the drug. (i.e. During the previous testing Conan spent the entire time with Ran.)

You've got a good point. It would've been hilarious if she'd actually done it.
