What is the symbolic meaning of words?(quotation) Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
raise the dead = The Birth of Frankenstein
(The Frankenstein’s monster, in Mary Shelley’s book, was created from bones of dead corpses and Victor Frankenstein sparks life into it.[or made up from patches of human corpses very crudely sewn together])

against the stream of time = against the laws of nature
God = Dr. Frankenstein (The Creature)
Devil = monster (creation)
