I really hope soon, though, the story starts to progress a lot more. I understand they kind of want it to be the BO is hard to find, etc, but I want to see more BO episodes. I want it to get interesting again. Heh.
I can't find the precise scene where he was called "Kaito Kid's rival" (I'm sure he was)
But in episode 469 @ 4:04, the journalists are well aware of Conan's encounter with Kid
then again @ 6:22, the guy calls Conan Kid's counterpoint.
I'm not sure if that satisfies, but that's all i got right now.
I guess that after 550 episodes it simply became a cliche. Personally, i dislike those cases extremely. It SIMPLY became too odd as the time passed. SO I am sure the producers are more focused at conan giving hints blablabla

I didn't like the "Sleeping Kogoro" from the start. And when he used the "button", I nearly fell off my seat when Conan put it in Kogoro's forehead. Eventually, I just learned to accept it...

hmm i used to like sleeping kogoro at the begining,but after 700 files it would be so repetitif and boring if gosho continue to use the same trick

Yeah, Conan is standing out more and more. It seemed now he can sounds out his deductions the normal way and instead of getting punches from Mouri, that old man actually would crouch down to listen. I think the author is doing it on purpose, I think he planned this out before hand, bot just because it's going to be boring if Mouri would sleep all the time, since the beginning, the title of the series was MEITANTEI CONAN- famous detective Conan, not Shinichi, Conan ^_^ In other words, Conan IS going to be famous, as Conan, then something is going to happen XDDD LOL... just my theory ^_^
