QUESTION : Did OKIYA re-directed the letter to HEIJI HATTORI
Why didn't he just phone Conan that "someone sent a letter to Shinichi-niisan" ?

Heiji is a well-known high school detective, so it's normal for Okiya to know him.

But what I'm wondering is: why didn't Okiya choose the easy way : just phone Conan
Why did he think that HEIJI COULD solve the problem?
Why did he think that HEIJI would be able to contact Shinichi?
That's the point !

Hmm, after stumbling onto this thread, i can't wait to see it's anime counter-part! But alas that's gonna be a while, keep up the great work DCTP!

Now wouldn't it be curious if the one who tried to get in conact with kudu was linked with the BO? If that's the case, maybe when the case happened a year ago, before he knew about the BO, the BO were ussing the murder kudu solved to cover something more sinsiter up? Well that's my speculation, and hope, it would be fun!

Dear sweet God...I can't believe he's back.  (it took them 646 files to get him naked? [/kidding] xD)

When I first read the spoiler at the beginning of the week and was bouncing off the walls at what kind of case this'll lead to, and I have a feeling it'll be a little more interesting than your average file.  I'm also eager for color pages, which would be great for the next file out.

This is probably the most eager that I've ever been for any of the chapters/spoilers to come out. '_'; I'd like to see how the amnesia plays out as an obstacle.

The most important two questions for me are :

1. Is the amnesia the result of Jumping off the cliff or because of the Anitdote?

2: Is it a permanent change or not?

I am afraid that the amnesia is a side effect of the antidote, and I am afraid that maybe his body is back to normal but his mind is that of a six your old child (the reverse of the drugs state). So this antidote is not useable in the future.

O.o Oooh. Good one. That would be interesting. First, shrink the poor guy to the body of a six year old but keep his high school conscience in tact. Second drug does the exact opposite. Revert him to the body of a high school student but his mind is that of a six year old (with amnesia). Oh the irony!!    Now, Haibara needs to develop a drug that balances both.. Hahahaha..

This chapter literally had me falling off my seat. I'm wishing it was Wednesday already.

So many possibilities are open at this point (usually they are the way every chapter ends for this manga). the faking amnesia one is a favorite, but I'm still wondering about that.

The trauma of the simultaneously placed crazy events might've knocked the memory out of him, or he could've hit his head really (read: REALLY) hard on a rock.

Conan, poor guy, probably only took the pill thinking it was Cold medicine.... Of all the times to make a mistake...

Also, it's hard to believe the last time this happened to him in the anime (when he turned back to normal, that is) was in Desperate Revival...

Some movies are really insane, canon or not (remember movie 8, that was like "Oh, WTF is this!", that's a really insane one).

Staying on topic, I think the last time we saw Shinichi was the Desperate Revival, which was a LONG time ago. It was time for him to show up, I hope Aoyama-sensei will make him into the story once again, at least for a small saga, not just a three chapter's one.
