Well even so, Gosho put the "woman lips" on the hairless shadow person. (Or maybe Misa had chemo and was wearing a wig?Abs. wrote: It was more of a joke in my usual style, rather than a bona fide "pointing out." Also, now that I'm seeing the "evidence" a second time, the lack of hair on "Misa" is rather off-putting.

So you're pretty set on Misa and Billy being the two, eh? Would be interesting if it did indeed turn out to be so.

Re: 487-490 theory
It's because I ruled out Jodie and James and the real Araide and someone else being the followers. Jodie and James don't seem to smoke, and we haven't seen any female members of the FBI in Japan except for Jodie. Araide doesn't smoke either, and he was supposed to be in overseas while under protection from the FBI. The characters were drawn with some detail, which is a little unusual for Gosho who most often uses pure shadowmen. The two cases are practically adjacent (410-412, 417-419). Billy is also an English name, which would make sense for someone with American connections. This is a case where enough minor details convince me there is a pattern. I have no idea if this is a dropped storyline or a Chekhov's gun.Abs. wrote: So you're pretty set on Misa and Billy being the two, eh? Would be interesting if it did indeed turn out to be so.
