So, even though nothing's been reported, I assume this just means a new timeslot for Conan but....what if...?

You mean what if the anime is canceled with no finale?  That is not a pleasant thought at all.  Hopefully, that petition will influence the continuation somewhere.  On the positive site, maybe they will move/dump Yatterman because they force you to watch that silly kiddie show if you want to see the closing of DC.

Petitions really don't help, especially for big companies. They do what's the best for their interest, believe me, I work for a huge corporation.

Anywho, I don't think they'll cancel a show that has been bringing in good ratings for a long time. They'll simply put it in another timeslot.

Agree, I think it's just a change in the timeslot, the news do create a little speculation, but Conan has remained in the top five for all this years, I doubt it's gonna end without a decent ending 

Although I have no knowledge about Japanese television, the comment was made in hopes that some network (however obscure) would pick up DC if YTV and NTV declined in April.  Looks like we will have just have to wait for the announcement, though I guess those who subscribe to the gloom & doom theory could claim that the ending of the anime will coincide with Movie 13 being DC's conclusion.

I just have this to say: Ending DC in such a way would be just WRONG!!!

Don't cancel DC!!

Do you have a Japanese source for this? If that is true, Chinese forums should have been told-- but either aptx or conans has nothing like this put on. You know, ANN sometimes report incorrect news.

you guys do realize how stupid it would be for everyone involved if the DC anime was cancelled right?

I'm sure DC makes a TON of money for some people in Japan. And they aren't trying to get too close to the manga so...

i don't know how i will take it if they will end DC next year!!!!!!!!!!! too many things are taken from me from the past few months...not DC too!!!!!     

Try not to jump the gun here, folks. We really don't that they'll be doing that. They didn't mention whether to cancel it or not, even though it's been bringing them good ratings.

i also not favor for the cancelation of DC.. maybe the finale of DC starting to be revealed sooner or later.. and aside of that.. there are many mangas that was not yet release in T.V..

I read somewhere that they will start airing Detective Conan on Saturdays at 6:00 pm.
Does anyone know if it's true or just another rumour?

I've heard something along this line too. Can't at all remember where i saw it though. Anyone feel like shedding some light on this?

I read a lot of ANN so I probably saw it somewhere over there lol.
