Do you mean it as an ending for the series (something made-up) or movies?

I'd be totally fine with that as long as Eisuke gets Ran (and I went there ;D).

Okay. We have a deal. Conan and Haibara will end up as a couple, as do Eisuke and Ran.
So... How do much chance for this ending is there? T_T?

(Please Aoyama... Pretty Please... Pretty please with sugar on top?) T_T

Shinichi will say good-bye to Ran as Conan before using the antidote to get his body back, and then greets her as himself. They go to a Cherry Blossom tree on top of a hill under a full-moon-lit night where they confess their feelings towards one another and they finally kiss.

that's too short, maybe a kiss as an ending wouldn't be a good enough ending between shinichi and ran, DC must have dozens of episodes wherein shinichi and ran would have days together, it's too stereotypical for an anime to have an ending like that, if they were to end together as a couple, they must have episodes much much much sweeter to sum up the hundreds of episodes ran waiting for shinichi to come back.

this is a discussion right?
in my opinion, having an anime ended with couples living happily ever after isn't good enough, like chobits/ yuyuhakusho/ card captor sakura and any other anime, argh, it's too deficient/curtailed (i don't know the right term) that DC would be labeled as this kind of movie.

i want to see them grow more together (shinichi and ran) rather than just a kiss.

but i want to see shinichi and haibara together :)

This is called best personal endings, that's what I would like to see personally. And to add another thing to my ending that I thought of is that after that scene, the two get married.

I've been saying for months that Haibara should get her body back and be interested in Eisuke--they've both 'lost' siblings, have an enemy in common, etc. Call me crazy. ;)

You're crazy.

I'd like to see a "10 years later" kind of thing.  Shinichi and Ran are married, Heiji and Kazuha are married, and they all work together in the Mouri detective agency (can't just kick him to the curb, what would Ran think?).  Kogoro would be the "director", so basically just does nothing but makes money.  Shinichi and Heiji work together to solve crimes, etc etc.  Haibara can either get her body back or not, don't care.  Also, Detective Boys would be interning for them, but would not speak during what was being shown.

Takagi and Takagi (I assume Satou would take his name) would be their police liasons.  The final scene would be Eri hitting Kogoro, leaving it open as to whether they got back together or not, but implying they did.  Why else would she be there to hit him?   :P

Also, the last episode would all be a case during this 10 years later gap, so as to get the full effect and not some 5 minute flash foward crap.

Well, looks like you may have a chance to see your wishes animated... sooner, better than later.

Get those mailing lists going--send those to Yomiuri Television, right to the desk of Suwa Michihiko. ;)

This has nothing to do with the topic, but congratz on being the first to make 1000 posts, Jd!

Back to the topic. I kinda don't want to see one of those epilogue episodes, since it usually brings me depression and thoughts of suicide... But at the same time, I don't want an Inuyasha anime kind of ending, where NOTHING IMPORTANT HAPPENED! I don't really want an offward tangent from the manga ending, like FMA either.

I'm okay with DC's ending since I don't know what I want, as long as no more main characters die and Ran and Shinichi are together. SR FTW!!!!!!  ;D
