Hi guys. If you see the opromo pic in file 674, you could see a culprit smiling(like in movie 12 ), inspector megure screaming and haibara as well, and Gin holding conan's mouth, talking to him and smiling ) The fact that Detective conan is supposed to end in 2009 at the latest and that the BO appears in movie 13 and that conan comes face to face with gin and, if u check the preview website, they have some interesting pics, including satou san being targeted in the head by a gun... this movie looks violent ) What do u think?

This reminds me of people's anticipation of the end of the Naruto fillers with Naruto Movie III. Unfortunately the movie was released and the fillers kept going and going and going.

As much as everyone (including myself) wants to see an epic movie dealing with Conan finally taking a shot at confronting Gin it's more likely those screens are from unrelated events. It has been done before, specifically Countdown to Heaven's trailer which made it seem Haibara was working with Gin again by using a line that wasn't even in the movie itself and showing two edited scenes on one screen. Just a clever way of getting us to talk about the movie...which always works .

Wouldn't surprise me if the Conan and Gin scene is just a dream, the Haibara scene is a result of Conan telling her he believes the BO is involved in this case, and Megure's reaction is just him finding out the culprit escaped/tried to shoot one of his officers.

Well, thanks for spoiling the cold opening sequence to a movie that doesn't even come out for six months.

I wouldn't doubt this at all, honestly.

To be a fact, it has to be true.  You're either going to have to show some proof of this, or stop spreading it as "fact".  We have enough "world is falling" speculation posts, we don't need supposed facts too.

I think it's too early to speculate, since it isn't even the 13th yet when they're supposed to start leaking more information.

Ah, it slideshows through.  Interesting, earlier when I checked it it stayed at that initial picture.

I read somewhere that gosho has an end to the series in mind and its either supposed to end in 2008 or first thing 2009. Dont you think they might end the series in a movie ?

I think I know which interview you're talking about. He did say he had an ending in his mind, but he never said when it'd end and I just wish people could stop fixing DC-ending-dates all the times because it only missleads many people. As far as I'm concerned, I love mystery so I hope DC will never end.

I think that, if it ends, when it ends it will be in the manga. Manga's the original format, right? It just makes sense to close it there too. Kind of a "keep to the roots" thing.

No. The only reason to end DC in a movie would be for financial gain and I don't think any company/individual would risk the amount of fan backlash attached to this move just to gain more money. Like someone stated, DC is ending in the manga then that will be transferred over to the anime, though it wouldn't be surprising for the anime to get its own ending due to it running too long/getting lower ratings like many other animes (Ranma 1/2, FMA, and etc).
I think the real question is will this movie live up to the expectations is has now placed on itself by having the BO involved?
