They're made of sugar, so once all the tranq inside gets injected it dries up and disperses into the wind...

Seriously there's gotta be some side effect to all that stuff he is getting injected.

Orly? No shit... lol
It's probably just that the needles do not normally get too much attention so Gosho just make them disappear after use... It's like in other anime and cartoons where stuff come out from nowhere; no other explanation for that

I was just making up the most plausible explaination I could think of. There's really no stated reason how they disappear. My given reasoning is just a plausible one.

Ohhhh... LOL
But Tequila's episode, the needle didn't disappear. Conan was going to take it back after it hit Ran XD
Anyway, it doesn't matter. Yume's right

They actually covered that in once episode, where there was evidence that he was developing a tolerance for them.

okay maybe there won't be a side effect
but like in real life doctors can tell if you eat too many pills or do drugs i don't know
but if mouri kogoro constantly gets injected with the tranquilzer couldn't doctors tell during his annual body check up or something
its impossible for it to just dissapear

Well maybe it's just like what Yume said. It's one of those cartoon-ish things that appear and disappear out of nowhere

I doubt he knows...and I figure they just dissolve, like how they have dissolving stitches now...
