Announcement from Kudo's Bookshelf

After all the drama with the server (and the subsequent change of server), Kudo's Bookshelf, the encyclopedia of Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, is now on its final stages, and plan to officially open in early December, if not earlier.

So, Kudo's Bookshelf now needs:
  • 2-3 sysops that have adequate knowledge in DC affairs, and knows or want to learn Media wiki markup, which is also used in Wikipedia, etc. Before the site can be opened, we need to get the rules in place. I have a few drafts for different things, but they needed to be commented and edited. After the official opening of the site, sysops are also needed to uphold the integrity of Kud's Bookshelf and manage the editors.
  • We still lack a usable logo for KB. Requirments:
    • 135*135px,
    • Should contain the likeness of DC characters as little as possible, and
    • Should show the nature of this website.
  • For members of Proboards: I plan to include Internet opinions as well, and I found what has been written on Proboards valuable. If that possible that those information to be carried over to KB? Note KB uses the GNU Free Documentation License, and agreeing to move material meant the material is now sbuject to the aforementioned license.
Please help us on this project. For any problems, please fell free replying this thread or PM me.

Can't wait!  ;D

Should contain the likeness of DC characters as little as possible...?

Does that mean you don't want characters in your logo or...?

Oh well, I wouldn't want a character in my logo anyways, I would much rather have something simple.

This would be pretty cool to see. Can't wait to see the final product. I can make a link to it from my Detective Shinichi website.

I don't want DC characters on the logo since there would be some copyright complexities there. I want to keep KB as GNU as possible as copyright is concerned.

Your guess is totally right! I've been planning a DC wiki and it's coming to fruition.

But Wikiconan sounds a bit... yah. Kudo's Bookshelf sounds more like a DC related information site and it sounds like a great idea.

I know wiki is for information and stuff... But I believe it doesn't sound "DC" enough... If you catch my drift.

No, it'd suck, believe me.
It sounds like an "unreliable source that can be edited by ANYONE (even a-holes) :P"
