So, I'm attending Youmacon 2008 this weekend (anime convention in the Detroit area), and I'm going as a Detective Conan/Case Closed character, can you guess who?

I'm still working on the wig, bangs will be a tad shorter (although the wig head makes them look really long), and I may style them into spikes (not straight sharp ones, but nice anime ones).

Nope   Unfortunately this character shows up even less often than Heiji (thanks to a certain something), and even LESS often in this outfit.

If I can't get you guys to recognize it, no one will at the con @_@

The blue suit was too typical for me.  There are blue suits all over anime conventions thanks to Phoenix Wright, so I went for this outfit.  Through the first 100-200 episodes, whenever Shinichi is shown casually he usually wears this outfit.  He has it on it whatever movie I took this screencap from as well:

Looking forward to your pictures! And I agree with you on the suits. Nowadays, Shinichi is always potrayed wearing suits or at least something very similar to suits.

Been working on the wig, this is what I've gotten it to so far.  Now I need some opinions.  I like how it looks now, I think it's a sort of natural representation of what his hair would look like in real life, but I could also still try spiking it into a lot of thick, wide spikes to try and more closely emulate the anime look.

Which should I do ?_?  I'm leaning towards the natural look right now.

I got a pretty good picture at one of the booths.  I don't really have any other pictures from other people because no one knew who I was I don't think ;_;

But that's what you guys and the internet are for :3  I think the picture turned out good though.
