which one do you think was the best? i think the best 2 hour special was 345. it was really exciting. and the best episode with 2 or more  parts was 309/310/311.

Episode 174 that should be the one about the 20 year old case when the detectives daughter was killed and 345 of course.

The best 2 hour special is easily 345... And the best 3 part....I'd have to say I'm between And Then There Were No Mermaids (222-224) and The Magic Lover's Murder Case (132-134)

How the heck could Conan figure out such a complex set up by looking at a BOAT - and more so - on a wine bottle? First time I realized that Conan was hands down, a genius 

The best special is probably 345, followed by 304. I also really liked 263.
For the best 3-part, I would probably say 176 - 178 (Reunion with the Black Organization), followed by 166 - 168 (Tottori Spider Mansion)

I have not seen the "Mermaids" three-parter subbed ANYWHERE! I've always looked to watch 3-parters, obviously, but I've never seen this one subbed.. if anyone had it.. that'd be swell!

345 and 425 .. No challenge.. and yeah i like the entrance of kaitou kid,ie- 76 and the 219th episode too

my favourite is 304. it has a great story and a genius scene, where takagi asks conan 'who are you' and conan just answers 'well, if u want to know ill tell u - in the next world' or similar.
i loved this scene so much i couldnt get over it until today.
in my opinion 304 is even better than 345. well the story in 345 was great and it was the first big mainplot-related case. the first real confrontation with the BO, but the 'silver bullet' case on the ghost ship disappointed me a bit. it could had been better. the appearance of ran in the end was a bit weird too. she protected haibara and saw the battle between conan, the fbi and vermouth. why the hell didnt she ask conan afterwards what was going on? she MUST have realized that this wasnt some normal case!

Yami-fansubs only subbed the first two parts of this case. I'm not sure what's up with the last episode. I got impatient and fetched a french subbed episode. But I've read the manga and I really enjoyed it. If you're into reading the manga, I recommend it. It's a nice Heiji & Conan case.

I might be biased  but I think 304 is the best so far, followed closely by 345.  304 had a tighter, better written story.  In fact, it's possibly my favorite episode.

304, 345, 425, 132-134!!! All love stories~! Anything that has vermouth in it too.

True, true. I mean, I was so excited about 345 that I watched it like 6 times after getting it~ and 263 was a pretty nice case, too.

But what I liked best about 304 (aside from the obvious TakagixSatou marked all over it) was the Matsuda thing. I liked his character a lot (I'm guessing that's what Gosho aimed for, ne?). Also, it's the best MPD case ever!! And Shiratori wasn't being a complete @ss about Takagi and Satou throughout this one    But again, while the storyline was great, the mystery wasn't as good as 345, in my opinion.

425, definitely. 345 had the most suspenseful moments, but the Ghost Ship part really was a bad blow to the momentum of the case. As for the three parters, I would go with the Stradivarius Case or perhaps the 176-178 set at the hotel with Pisco.

425 and 345 of course XD!!!! I watch it all the time
