Gosho's methods

What kind of methods does Gosho use in his manga?  If one were to attempt to duplicate his style of art, for example, what materials should one buy?  Does he use art markers or pen and ink, and does he use a wash for hair and shadows?  Sometimes the art resembles charcoal or ebony pencil. Can more advanced artists than I give me a clue?

I'm by no means an artist but I think the way Gosho works was mentioned in the Conan Drill. It hasn't been translated though.

Judging from Conan Drill and The Complete Color Works artbook, Aoyama likes to use:

Tombow Mono plastic erasers for erasing
Pigma brand pens for outlining/drawing (particularly 0.1 mm for characters)
"Coloured ink" (Watercolor? Not sure of the brand) for painting coloured images

Looking at a different picture of a desk he seems to keep rulers, Bamboo brushes, whiteout, and a white paint marker handy.

Method:

Plan -> Pencil -> Outline -> Erase ->  Details/screentones/colour (depends on what he's doing)

It seems his assistants tend to help out with the screentoning process.

Colouring style - Since he uses coloured inks to paint with of some sort it looks like he starts with the highlights and ends with the shadows.

Random trivia: The cover image of Conan for the Color Works artbook took Aoyama 2 hours from start to finish.

As for how he actually draws, this video should be useful:

Thanks, Skyechan!  Now I know what art supplies to add to my collection.

In the Conan Wikia, it says Gosho uses pigma pens, sizes 05, .1 and .8. Shouldn't that be 05 (.45mm), 1.0 (the fat boy) and 08, (.50mm)? Or do I have that wrong?

Make that.01, not 1.0. He goes for those thin lines.
