Kappei Yamaguchi

Kappei Yamaguchi, the voice actor for our beloved Kudou Shinichi and Kaitou Kid, was in attendance at the Anime Convention Otakon, in Baltimore Maryland this past weekend. Here's a youtube link to the 12 parts of a room-filled Q&A with Yamaguchi-san.

It's quite interesting to see infact, I wish I could have gone myself. Just thought it'd be a nice topic of discussion.
He was asked in one of the parts by a fan, "Who would win in a fight between Kudou Shinichi, Ranma, and Inuyasha?"
And he picked Inuyasha =( I find it hard to believe. If anything I would say Shinichi would use his intelligence to outwit them, possibly make them fight each other to the death, and would emerge unscathed? Maybe lol. Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

Of course, because Inuyasha is the only one who has some sort of "powers" so even Kudo who doesn't believe in supernatural stuff can not explain Inuyasha's special ability, hahaha

He was also the voice of Artemis, the white cat of Sailor Moon in the live action series.

Maybe he would have won the fight against Ranma, Kudo, Kaito and Inuyasha

I was there, but left the Q&A after the fourth question because the moron asked the exact same question as the one asked before him, so I then went to stand in line for the autograph. Got my Detective Conan dvd signed on Friday, and one of the calendar pages (the one my avatar is from) signed on Saturday.

Well of course he'd pick Inuyasha. He's the only actual fighter among the three. Shinichi solves cases and Ranma, well, does martial arts. But unlike Inuyasha who has a real fight, Ranma's fights are more on fiances, both boy and girl half of him. Only the ending of the manga contains a real fight i guess LOL XD

Well, what about Megumi Hayashibara? As far as I can remember, she voiced three people in Detective Conan. They were, of course, Haibara... the other two are i think from the OVA. The fortune teller from OVA 1... and the other is Kaitou's classmate, I forgot what OVA that was, or was it an episode $:-\$ . She also voiced Ranma

And Minami Takayama, who voiced our beloved Conan. She's also the voice of Nabiki Tendo from Ranma1/2. She voiced a lot of little boys or rather young boys, like Hao Asakura from Shaman King and Young Thor from Jyu Oh Sei. Also Shin'ichi from Astro Boy's second episode

Wow, these three were together once in Ranma1/2 and now they're also together in Detective Conan. Cool

They're also together in Yu Yu Hakusho but with not that major roles.

And remember Ken'ichi Ogata is the voice of Ranma's Dad who plays Agasa in DC, now we have 4 Ranma/Conan Actors ^_^

The fortune teller and Kaitou's classmate are one... Akako Koizumi's the name, I guess...

Me too, that's why I know these three more than the other characters. Well, I actually know Megumi and Kappei more, up until I learned that Minami is the voice of Conan

Yep, unlike Ranma or his father, which you can tell right away that they are Shinichi and Agasa, Megumi's voice is not that recognizable as Conan's
