I was looking up some random DC related stuff, when I found this article. It seems that the Japanese government is using DC to better explain what the G8 summits are, and some other things I can't understand due to lack of knowledge of the japanese language.

A pamphlet featuring some of the characters of DC was made about G8. Here is the link in case anyone wants to see it.

Also, sorry if the title was a bit misleading, I didn't know how else to rephrase it

Lol I love your title
It's pretty common having mangaka draw up panthlets like this to explain various things. Thanks for sharing.

the conan in the pamphlet doesn't look like it was Gosho who drew it... or was it supposed to be some1 else to draw him?

I think it was like his apprentices or something like that. This was from the ANN site.
The same ministry hired the pint-sized detective to explain its mission to children in another pamphlet and a related manga campaign. In fact, the same staff artists for Aoyama — Masaru Ota and Kazuhiro Kubota — drew both pamphlets.

I think it is interesting which character is depicted holding which flag. How is Kazuha representative of the US? Any chance the manga wing of DCTP will be tackling this?
