..umm I'm not sure if it's just me.. but I've been into Rock and some Rap my whole life.. with alittle classical/jazz/opera likings.. and I just LOVE all the background songs.. I'm talking about.. let me try and visualize it for you..

The only background song I've been able to obtain yet:

I titled it, confrontation, because this song mainly plays when either Conan/Heiji/Goro/Sonoko points out the culprit.. it goes a little something like

do do-do-do DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... do do-do-do DOOOOOO doooo.. doo doo doo.. doo do doo.. dooooo dooooooooo.... (then it goes into a bridge part and then repeats and finishes)(i capitalized LOUDER notes)

(pronouce as do not "doh"... or it doesnt really matter.. if you get the beat, you get it.)

Anyone understand visual music?

Perhaps numbers work better.. to differentiate the notes.. and understand the length a bit better..

Ok so besides my absolutely pointless rambling on how to describe music via writing, does anyone know how to obtain any of these songs?(besides the one I described) and I mean ANY of them.. but especially this one.. I'll try to describe it again.. this one plays mostly when something emotional or sad is being told.. it starts with a slow guitar riff, and that same riff turns into piano.. let me try..

Thats awesome dude. LOL. You should have just found an episode and told everyone between what time it plays. . If Tsuru~ doesn't get it, i'll give it a guess. Most likely he did though. ^^v

I'm pretty sure that Tsurugi is correct (and deserves an e-cookie for that too, brilliant deduction!).

Well that was fun, but was quite easy to figure out if u watch the series frequently since it is usually the theme that is played after a case is solved (atleast for 80% of the episodes by estimate) as stated by Edogawa.

But keep on rockin dude....LOL!

Song 1 you were dead on, but I'm sorry I didn't make myself more clear before in my hurried ramblings, I already have the Confrontation/Showdown song..

I have an example for two songs I desperately want more than any other(keep in mind, theres a bunch):

Episode 366 - The first song you hear.. this is number one on my Most Wanted list.. after the opening(obviously) Agasa says "Here everybody, watch your step.." .. and it begins.. (this is Song 2 from my first post)(episode 366 readily available via detectiveconan.us(aka God before Kaizou))

Episode 491 - This song is the one you've heard a hundred times.. but it's evolved a bit in the later episodes(as pretty much everything has, quality-wise) It begins in this episode when it switches scenes to "Welcome Burger"

EDIT: Holy crap wait a second.. there's one that I really need to mention.. and that is the main theme.. played in the opening sequence of most of the movies(i'll certify, because I'm watching it at this moment, that when movie 2 shows the TITLE.. the song is playing, though it's not the usual version from the show..I would prefer the usual version.. i love the saxophone

It's hard to tell from just from the "do do do do" 's. lol

I'm uploading the entire OST 1. it includes the songs that you mentioned as being in 366 and 491, though they are a little different as, like you said, the music has changed over the years. The main difference just seems to be the instrument they're played with (I don't have the versions that are in these eps, and i don't even know if they're available). Respectively, they are Ran's Love Theme, and Carefree Feeling.

B'z is like, the best band of all time
girigiri is definitely one of their rougher(I guess that's how I could describe it xD) songs though
