Some of you may have heard from me before, but though I stick to Miyano-sama's episode list for serious reference, when I'm lazy, I check the episode list found at Wikipedia.

I don't know who has been updating it over the past 6-8 months, but they have known(and been correct) about all the future episodes, including the episodes title. I was astounded tonight when I checked the list and saw it had been updated for 509-511, and utterly in a state of complete panic when I see the name of episode 511:

"Deduction Showdown! Shinichi vs. Subaru Okiya"

Wouldn't this just be from the manga, files 638-640?

I guess this is based on the manga (SOS airplanes)
Maybe we will get to see the animated version of Ran kicking Okiya in the face. XD

lol they're like 50 manga chapters too early.

We won't see Ran kicking his face or anything since Ran doesn't know who he is until the SOS case.

but this is going to be an interesting filler, it sounds like an 1 hour special, is it?

More than likely, but seeing Okiya in manga.. and seeing him in anime are two different things. It goes without saying that anime can express feelings/emotions better than manga can.. and I'm excited to see how it goes.

After seeing 509, I think 509 - 511 will be Files 622-624 and Files 638-640 combined, so unfortunately it's not a special

511 is a filler... it won't be in the manga...

I don't get how this is a filler. It could still be that 511 is based on files 638-640. 509 is based on files 622-624, and the next case that involved Okiya wasn't one that needs to happen after the red, White, and Yellow case. Anyways, I don't think that Okiya's personality and life would be portrayed by anyone other than Aoyama, especially since there is not much on Okiya right now.

so if 622 -624 is on 509
then 625 - 627 is on 510 has to be a 2 part series so 511 will have to be about hammer man too.
since that doesn't work, i'm assuming 510 and 511 would be filler? because after red,white and yellow there would be 4 more cases b4 it reaches the paper airplane case.

It's not necessarily going to be a filler. Maybe they arranged it that way so after the red, white and yellow where Okiya was introduced, audience would know who he is on the next episode (in SOS airplanes). Then they would insert the skipped chapters after 511. ^,~

I think that 509 and the first part of 510 is going to be the 622-624. The second part of 510 and 511 is going to be 638-640. Check out the episode preview for 510 (http://www.ytv.co.jp/conan/story/) and you'll see that it features both cases.

And Rellik, the anime jumps around and doesn't follow the order of the manga. For example, the Sengoku case (which is before all these cases) isn't even in the anime yet.

i am aware of these 'jumps'
i'm just logically speaking, since skipping 4 cases for the case after it is very rare.

i checked the full preview and it does indeed contain the paper airplane case though.

It's not like they haven't already skipped cases going to the Okiya intro case.  They even skipped the Hattori Heiji case I was waiting for.  All it means is they'll just end up going back to those cases later.
