How long would DC last?

At what chapter do you think DC would end? past 1000? 800+?
I'd say 1000+, well more like i'd like to see...

... or probably at 4869 since Conan/Shin-ichi コナン/新一 loves Sherlock Holmes... but it would be a looooooong time before it ends. haha

yeah huh... it took about 12 years to air 500 episodes... so i guess we're gonna have to wait another 12 years for it to reach the 1000th episode... hahaha

They are talking about the manga not the anime..... Chapter for Manga, Episode for anime.....
But you are right on somethin... actually DC manga has 657 chapters. more than 500 ep in the anime. If Gosho ends DC manga on 1412 (That would be great) it will take more than 12 years to end the anime

I was thinking Gosho would hit around the 90s or (hopefully) the early 100s, volume-wise. It's legitimate to say the 1000th file (or even 1412, that would be GREAT!
), so that's very possible. I really hope he doesn't drag it out as far as 110 volumes at least.
I don't know how far I can go with storage then. And Viz would probably be publishing the volumes for years on end, maybe even surpassing
Ranma 1/2's 16-year English run.

I'd go for 1000-1200 chapters. BTW, will Gosho be still young enough to write the 1000th chapter? How old is he anyway?
