I'm curious to hear the opinions of other DC fans .
I personally would go with "The Mountain Villa Bandaged Man Murder Case" (eps 34-35) case and "The Snowy Mountain Lodge Murder Case" (ep 46). I'm not sure why but these kinda give me the goosebumps.
oo..and try to live the motive of the crime out of the ecuation
If blood comes flying out of his chest is very brutal, then the rollercoaster case at the start is extremely brutal isn't it? The head just get cuts off and then in place of it is a blood fountain.
I don't remember the case name but they were ice skating and the victim was shot with a shotgun at close range in a bathroom stall. The crime scene was very graphically depicted. Maybe not the most brutal, I guess you'd go pretty quickly but it wouldn't be my choice means of dying.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Snowy Mountain Lodge Murder Case (Episode 46). No contest. Having your lungs pierced and knowing you're going to die while you writhe in agony, unable to even call for help... that's not a pleasant way to go.
How about the murder from hades case then? Where you struggle to breath thinking you'll be saved when in reality you're just helping the murderer make their alibi.
Hey, I have an idea, let's have a THIS SUCKS / NO THIS SUCKS / NO YOU / NO YOU argument for a couple pages, that will really be great. - Ingmar
I dunno, at least there you still have a feeling of hope. In this one, it's like, okay I know I'm going to die. Even worse since he was a doctor, he knew there was nothing that could be done.
The two murders in the Hades case were just insane. Not for pain, but for the amount of psychological torture inflicted, especially for the pottery case, imagine how terrified the man was when he dropped the vase (the pool case was more physical).
As for the bloody murders, many of them aren't so 'bad'. When you get your head cut off you die pretty much instantly, getting blasted by a shotgun is similar.
"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."
I just rememberd all the cases you've mentioned...almost forgotten them, and indeed there are quiet a few brutal murder cases throughout the series.
And i don't know about you, but the figure of the Night Baron just creeps me out. The face, the costum, his voice (you can hear it just in the episode where the parents of Conan disguise themselves to test him; somewhere in the first 40 eps or so) everything.
I await other opinions from you (hope i don't get to scared, cause i just life getting caught up in the episodes )
Lol speaking of freaky voice, still I think the freakiest voice would be that high pitch giggle from that curse mask 1 hour episode (scared me sooo bad when I was little).
