Wow, sounds cool, but now that the series were starting to be a little more "darker" now we got this happy opening... Well, if it's a Mai's song, I don't mind it.

In all likelyhood this means that the next set of episodes won't be too involved with the BO plot, but rather, that a return to the usual cases with some sparse plot is what we'll get.

Maybe it is just me, but I think having a billboard promoting the song during the opening is kind of tacky.

its better then them editing some of the video of the song into the the OP now that was tacky imo

Well, the song is OK, but the new opening... I must say it's just lame, I found it really disgusting, seems like we'll have some fillers and plot-unrelated cases during the summer.

Oh, and about the Detective Boys pursuing Kogoro... Well... doesn't fit for me, I really loved last opening.

i ,ike new song and the video, its like a feelgood video, not so action like last op or dramatic. i like it. i like to see conan act like a normal kid. 

Does anyone know when they'll air the episode shown in the opening?

Just curious since I'm fairly sure it's based off of "The Fugitive" from the manga in Volume 57.

well since they are skipping around slightly with the whole BO arc and the manga chapter is only 1 chapter long they might not do it at all.

Yeah, I'm sure it's wishful thinking on my part that they'll do it for the reasons you just mentioned. Still, it would be cool to see that one subbed since it's one of my favorite Kogoro moments in the whole series.

agree there (well that, OAV5 and the ping pong case) but this OP might be as close as we ever get to the chapter I am hopeing not though
