But seriously this was kinda good. Not nearly as good as the last couple of manga cases but anything's better than the 1 ep AO crap we've been getting. I hate that we have another obvious culprit but at least everyone seems to be intelligent enough to suspect her more than anyone.

Got no opinion for the episode, as I prefer waiting till every part is released to watch all of them.

I swore child!Shiratori was voiced by Minagawa Junko.  The voice sounded the same as Oz in Pandora Hearts.  However, after checking the credits it seems that it was Honda Takako.

I agree.  It relieves me that they didn't fail with the chibi-Shiratori and chibi-Satou-keiji-or-is-it!? voices.

Okay, let's get to the real stuff

Ai and Conan.  Ai grabbing Conan's hands, that was totally on purpose 
Also, she was poking fun at Shiratori with love problems when herself is struggling as well, hypocrite ai!!  

I like the current animation of ai, very nice and pretty, clean-cut, unlike previous styles where they kept messing with her hair and face.

even if she was just researching stuff and developing poison and not on Gin/Vodka/most other BO member missions, I find it hard to believe that Shiho hasn't seen far worse stuff than anything a monster movie with CG would have

She already seen far more grotesque scene from murder scene, human experimentation, etc.. And now, a CG for some kids movie made her scared ?

I'll bet time would tell when Conan ask her about this, and she would just smirking

Actually she did say that it was the part AFTER the disembowelment that was disturbing. We wont know what it will be till part 2.

well, she said that the part after that was the scene where gomera chomped the enemy's head and there was blood spewing around, but from conan's reaction to when she said that, I'm guessing that that part was cut from the version of the movie that was shown or something (or any other "the culprit mentioned something that didn't actually happen during when they were away killing people" situation)

Im guessing the lady put in some sleeping pills in Shiratori's coke when she got him a new one.

Yep and Ayumi grabbing Conan was more on purpose... desperate attempt at ruining a classic "girlfriend gets scared, boyfriend comforts her" moment
