Another minor thing that maybe I didn´t really see it, is that when Conan tells Kogoro to check up the desk to use the tranquilizer watch, the chair is backwards, but then it is on the right position for Kogoro to sit on it. Most probably it´s a mistake of mine.

The rope was just passed through the knife's handle so when u cut the rope u can pull it out the room and about the chair i've no idea.
