Okay... So thinking back.... I realized that Gosho inadvertently limited the number of members the Black Org can have... Thus far all names of members have been alcohols

This begs the questions: How many possible code names could there be...?

                                       And what are those code names?
Remember, Gosho has never used mixed drinks so those are not allowed. And names of specific alcohols are also not allowed [as in brand names]

So lets see how far we can take this, and finally figure out how many/what names Gosho can use.


PS: Yes you can list the current names in use, but no name can be used more than once.

Edit: I apparently forgot about Kir, which is a mixed drink... However.... considering the amount of mixed drinks, and how many are BS... Lets just avoid the silly ones... Unless you REALLY think a B-Org member would have a name like Piece of Ass, Angel's Tit, Generation Sex.... just to name a few... [Yes I did purposely choose the sex related ones... just seemed funnier that way] But even if mixed drinks ARE included... it is still limiting... Considering that the most organizations have thousands of members, there are still not enough drinks to make due.... [If you do include the silly ones, I have only heard of about 14000 drinks, which to me doesn't seem the number of a large scale international organization... Especially when you consider that the Yakuza have 80000+ members, and that is a Japan only organization...]

So far we have ....

1° - Gin
2° - Vodka
3° - Vermouth
4° - Sherry
5° - Bourbon
6° - Kir
7° - Korn
8° - Chianti
9° - Tequila
10° - Calvados/Carvados (i can't remember how it was xD)
11° - Pisco
12° - Irish (don't know if u count this one)

can't remember anyone else ....

Um.... well I'm no alcohol expert but off the top of my head I can think of rum, whiskey, wine, champagne.... does beer count?  That should be Mouri's code name.

eta: I'm much more used to using things like methanol or isobutanol.  On second thought.... Ethanol would be a fitting name for the Boss....

ethanol is the alcohol used for human consumption, so it might be a fitting name for the boss, as it's what's behind all booze.

You mean he limits the important members right? Because you k ow I don't think Akemi had a codename. Did she?

no,i don't think so...i think only the most important members had nicknames related with alcohol...Akemi was a low member so she hadn't any nickname...and Akai had his nickname when he became more important...
but maybe the low members have nicknames,no related to alcohol names...we need some details about that ....

as for the possible names...i think about Rum,wine or somethig like that...i'm not an expert on alcohol...XD

You assume too much. Just because Gosho never had a member with a mixed drink as a nickname yet, does NOT imply that there is some sort of rule restricting code names to homogeneous alcohols.

I think that the B.O Boss's codename might be "Champagne" since it's the top alcohol drink

You assume too much. Just because Gosho never had a member with a mixed drink as a nickname yet, does NOT imply that there is some sort of rule restricting code names to homogeneous alcohols.

I'd say after 3 data points or so patterns like that start to become suggestive. Unfortunately Kir is a cocktail and thus breaks the pattern (heh, unless it's a sign that the boss knew she's a double agent when he assigned the codename).

irish had a code name and he was only needed to get the mem card and get shot by kir even belmot siad he would die

Jager would be a good name because it's amazing (as the boss's name should be), however I already dibsed that alcohol in a topic over in the manga board, so he can't have it.
