I don't know which eye Count Bleck has his monocle on, because whenever he faces the other it just reverses the image.

Actually they do look alike, I pointed that out to my family not too long ago.

Using this logic, anyone wearing a top hat and monocle is similar to Kid.

Im a fangirl of Kaitou Kid and you dont say that about KID he's cooler then that guy 8)
sure there can be other characters that may look like him. Hey even I made a character that sorta looks like him before I became a fan of Detective Conan.
but he's one of a kind.

My brother kept pointing this out too. He also says that Kirby is like Kid because both are masters of disguise (while playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl).

Count Bleck did steal the chaos heart, which is a large jewel.  He does obsess about it the whole game.

That's two out of the three I listed. I thought of adding "peeking at women's underwear," but I figured that Mario game villains wouldn't engage in such lowbrow debauchery while they are busy possessing people, running townsfolk out of their villages, sending out armies to murder infants, kidnapping princesses and plumbers, imprisoning people in paintings, illegally dumping toxic sludge, arranging forced marriages, funding efforts to accelerate global warming by stealing priceless historical artifacts, mutating the wildlife into minions, taking over the universe, etc.
