and damn, people in the DC universe have such excessive amounts of pride. Leaving a completely blatant piece of evidence just because you couldn't tear your own bag, c'mon.

A bag for scuba drivers. XD Seriously...
I liked the ending too, it has a nice lyric. And then Conan and Kogoro in the end... XXD That's all.

No, the worst part is that she thought she won, so she didn't move the real bag somewhere else. If she had, there'd have been no way of proving whether the original bag was real or not.Akonyl wrote: and damn, people in the DC universe have such excessive amounts of pride. Also, I think it would've been better if she had passed the bag off to someone when she got mobbed by the train. Better than playing up some waterproof angle.

yeah, tbh at first I thought she switched it with the mob that pushed by her.GinRei wrote:No, the worst part is that she thought she won, so she didn't move the real bag somewhere else. and at least for the moving of the real bag, she may have originally been waiting for the whole ordeal to die down before nabbing it, in case she was seen/followed.

That's what my brother and I thought, originally, that she had made the exchange with someone else in that crowd already. That probably would have been a bit of a better idea than planting a fake bag with a conveniently placed scuba mask. Definitely not one of the best written AO episodes...GinRei wrote: Also, I think it would've been better if she had passed the bag off to someone when she got mobbed by the train. Well, if she had played by the "perfect crime" rule, there would be no way for Conan to solve it, would there?
My friend was asking "How the hell would a bag with a metal implant, as light as 10kg, withstand the discharge current?"
Now I'm no physics major, but if the metal bag could be carried by bare hands, I think it would all the same be swept away quite a distance.
Being waterproof and immobile are two different things.

My favorite part of this episode was the pun at the end and cute next Conan's hint with Takagi and Sato.

guys... aside of dctp i discover other fansubbers that did same project as dctp did (to be exact the latest episodes) and when i visited their site there is a poll ask about what anime they like most in their subs and i found out that detective conan is the second in the poll (defeating bleach, one piece)... does this mean that detective conan regaining its popularity... maybe i think so because i've read some positive comments here regarding the latest episodes of DC (manga based and tv original)...

DC seems to be knocking around the 16-20th spot on Onemanga currently. It used to be down towards the fourties or fifties about a year-and-a-half ago. The DC forum has also seen a steady increase in traffic in my opinion. I think it is safe to say DC has seen an uptick in popularity vs. 1.5 years ago.kirhidemi wrote: guys... aside of dctp i discover other fansubbers that did same project as dctp did (to be exact the latest episodes) and when i visited their site there is a poll ask about what anime they like most in their subs and i found out that detective conan is the second in the poll (defeating bleach, one piece)... does this mean that detective conan regaining its popularity... maybe i think so because i've read some positive comments here regarding the latest episodes of DC (manga based and tv original)...![]()

Helps that the overall quality in new anime being released has plummeted quite a bit in the last couple of years as well.

Disagree. 2008 was awesome with a ton of plot related awesomeness and Furinkazan and it's only back to the quality of most of the 400s after Blue Spark of Hatred and most of the old soundtrack dissappearing for no reason.GinRei wrote: Helps that the overall quality in new anime being released has plummeted quite a bit in the last couple of years as well.
