Looks like FUNimation has updated their main website with new trailers for Countdown to Heaven and The Phantom of Baker Street. The first was online for a while, so no caring much about it, but I have to say that the latter trailer was very interesting. I think I'll say it's better than the original (except for music, of course). Mid-February can't come soon enough.
See them here.

Well, movie 6's trailer sure uses a LOT of scenes from the last 15min of the movie.

Heh...didn't want to know that.

Haven't seen yet. Then, I'll make sure not to rewatch it.

wow that was pretty great. When Ran's dub voice was the worst voice in the trailer, you know this is going to be good.

really? I think she sounds a bit too old to be 17.
I really like Gin's new voice, sounds pretty badass. I think it's kind of funny how movie 5 is really based off of Ai and she isn't shown a single time in the trailer,

I honestly don't remember liking Ai in this movie as she seemed to be way too much like an exagerration of her own character.

true, she was OOC, but still, I find it funny funi completely avoids her so the dub fans won't get confused with who she is

You guys can't be serious... I could go on for
weeks, criticizing the VAs... Actually, I kinda did that with my friends already!

oh get over it, the dub can not be held to the same standard as the subs. the subs get to say what ever they want, the dub has to say the same thing within the time requirements set by the lip movements of the original. also they have to put in the same emotion into their performances as the original, also they may want to do something with the character that makes more sense in English. I say that dubs might not be better but they are more enjoyable to watch.

People expect a great dub from Funimation, because Funimation has shown before that they can make a capable dub. However, Funimation's dub of Conan is less than great. Ran's VA isn't good, probably one of the worst ones in the show. She has only one emotion as Ran: worry. That's the only thing she can really pull off. Don't even get me started on Takagi, who sounds like a guy who is literally reading off of a script without a single bit of emotion. Inspector Yokomizo sounds like he's making a bowel movement. Mitsuhiko used to sound good, but according to the clip I saw of movie 3, something happened and I have no idea what. And the worst of them all is Agasa's. Good luck trying to decipher whatever weird voodoo langauge he's speaking in when he's doing a deduction in that Gomera case.
That's not the say the dub is the worst. Kogoro's voice is perfect, the best of the bunch, and Megure's voice is also incredibly well done. And if you've ever heard Shiratori's, you'll hear how much of a PERFECT fit Eric Vale was in that role. And according to the movie 5 trailer, they finally got Gin's voice right. But you can't just tell people to "get over it." If they think it's crap, then they think it's crap, which it seems a majority think. And also, on the lip movement argument, even the Japanese version has audio that doesn't match lip movements.
And they may want to do something that makes more sense in English? What about when english viewers miss a vital clue because the writers decided to re-write a part of a script to insert a joke, which happened in the Luxury Liner case? It's not just the VA's, the writing is horrible as well, things are re-written that make no sense. Heiji is Canadian and is a big hockey fan from Alberta. Wait! No, nevermind, he's from Osaka afterall!
The dub isn't the worst dub, but there are still a LOT of improvements that need to be worked on. The stuff that is dubbed later on is indeed better, but still, it's far from being an amazing dub. They still have a long way to go, and have to stop making so many stupid changes. Also, if they do make changes, they have to make up their mind!

I agree, Megure, Kogoro, Shirtatori (aka, Santos lmao), Gin, and Kudo all have good VAs. The guy who voices Richard should learn japanese, so then we can send his ass to Japan to replace the current seiyuu for Kogoro.
Genta's voice is also pretty good, I think it suits him quite well.
My least favorite would have to be Rachel's, Conan's, Mit, Ayumi (omg, I thought she was annoying in the original version, godamn), and I've started to dislike Ai's when I saw movie 4.
